The thing is Justin Baldoni consistently chose to not show several women including Blake a sliver of respect to speak to them professionally or regard their boundaries during It Ends With Us. If it is not a tall-tale sign that an abusive man hires Johnny Depp's PR Machine as part of his defense of what an asshole he is, I don't know what else could show his motivations and intentions than his literal actions against the women he caused harm to. Do I think Blake's lawsuit has been a hot mess? Absolutely, but that doesn't negate his actions, which made Jenny Slate, Blake's driver, several women on set uncomfortable and which they reported about to people in their circle and on set. When you are reporting issues about a person in power, and that goes nowhere because the person in power also has producing rights, the studios working on his side, etc. this is the kind of shit show you get - where women are not believed once again.
Just like Amber Heard - you can text friends, you can have videos, you can have photos, you can have people corrobating your experiences, and it's still never enough to be believe. But a man can simply exist as a man in a situation like this and his "facts" and "logic" and "behavior" is accepted.
Every single time a woman/women speak up against men, why is it that more men show who they really are by saying - these women wouldn't be attacked if it wasn't for metoo, this wouldn't be happening to so many great guys if it wasn't for metoo, men don't know how to act around women because of me too. It always comes back to metoo because it proved women speaking up against harassment and abuse is what would actually cause men and women with internal misogyny to identify women are human beings and don't deserve to be violated.
It's a shame that we've seen this all before against Amber Heard, the women who spoke out against Harvey Weinstein, literally any woman who speaks up against who hurt them. But at the same time, once you know the playbook of larger power structures, you learn not to fall for it.
Anyone else completely obsessed with The Wolf King by Lauren Palphreyman ?!
The second I read this scene, I knew I had to draw it. September cannot come fast enough! 🐺🔥 #thewolfking #thenightprince #fanart #romantasy #BookTok

I just watched the “It Ends With Us” and I understood very well that if it wasn't in Blake, this movie would have no meaning... I watched every scene with tears in my eyes, Blake's acting, her facial expressions, her expression of emotions all of them left me speechless... Especially song choices were incredible, I started sobbing when “My Tears Ricochet” started playing. It's so obvious that Blake had a huge influence in this movie... she added an incredible perspective to the movie... I hope over time, people will stop coming at this woman and realize her vision and her talent…
Blake Lively, they can never make me hate you
While Team Blake is the reigning champion on The Voice, Blake Shelton has reason to be worried. Two of his fellow coaches — Kelly Clarkson and John Legend — were winners in their first seasons, and now there’s another new coach taking a seat this season: Ariana Grande. Of course, Shelton doesn’t want to build her up with a lot of confidence. But he will admit to knowing a thing or two about Grande’s career as a hitmaker.

For the kid meme: Mary Crawley/Charles Blake?
[send me a pair name and I’ll tell you what I think it would be like if they had a child.]
Ooo, a pair from the archive - I like it!
Name: Christopher Charles Blake Gender: male General Appearance: Like his parents, Christopher is dark-haired and dark-eyed, with his father's (and grandfather's) tendency towards broader shoulders.
Personality: Chris isn't quite the youngest of the Crawley children, but he's a follower rather than a leader, just happy to be along for the party. He's laid-back and nonchalant, something that kills both of his high-performing parents, more at home on a walk through the Downton Gardens than a rugby scrum. While he knows his brother will one day inherit Downton (and that he, as Charles' son, isn't really in the running) it's not something he grudges his brother. If anything, it's an opportunity for him to make his own future.
Special Talents: Chris is a credible mimic and a good singer, talents that serve him well at school. Thanks to a lot of rigorous schooling on estate management, he's also fairly good at math and has a growing (pun intended) interest in botany.
Who they like better: Mary's resolved to be more involved in the lives of her children than her parents were, and her sons are proof positive of this. Whereas Charles' academic work takes him away from Downton for long periods of time, Chris always knows he can count on his mother for advice.
Who they take after more: Much as Mary Crawley-Blake would hate to admit to it, her son has inherited her romantic streak.
Personal Head canon: George was over the moon when his mother and stepfather announced that he'd be getting a little brother, and from day one, George was there to make sure Chris never got left behind.
Face Claim: Gosh, this is really hard. I always see William Mosley for George, and I feel like...Finn Cole, maybe? (Obvs less murder-y than he is in Peaky Blinders.)
