Talking to @elezenaccountant about headcanons for Seya and Saha’sae during the events of 4.0. The idea came up that while the cousins accompany Zansei to the Azim Steppe, Seya devises a way to earn the Qestir’s approval: a magick show for the khan. Over the course of several days she demonstrates her skill with aether manipulation both on a practical level (healing people, defending Reunion from aggressive wildlife) and aesthetic level. The dark arts are the last card she plays in hope that the proceeding days have built enough rapport that the magick isn’t outright looked upon with fear or suspicion given its sinister appearance. Even so very far away from Ishgard, the nature of a dark knight remains unchanged.

“You will be avenged.”
Updated Bijna’li Camda’s appearance! Changed his skintone to better reflect his family’s diversity and his nameday to reflect his guardian deity.
