Not a day goes by that I don’t think about the fact that Cap is out there somewhere gnawing on a Sidney Crosby chew toy like the good D.C. pup he is and just....smile.

The three dogs between them have three beds. Plus they are allowed on the sofa, two of the living room chairs, and, of course, any rug. Thanks to a cold, I have been up at all hours the past two nights. It’s amusing, each time I’m up, to see how the dogs have rotated through their options. It’s like a little game of nocturnal musical chairs.
