Team Building Exercise 39 || Team Delta || Co/
Concord stood before his team, looking every agent and A.I. over. He'd seen some of them since arriving on Meridian, and others he hadn't. But they were all assembled before him now, perhaps worse for wear, but alive. At least he could be thankful for that.
Between himself and his agents was a rather large mound of items, hidden precariously with a black sheet. He didn't want to make things too long-winded. While this was training, it was also supposed to be somewhat fun. They were on vacation after all.
"You all lived through the attack on the Equinox. Congratulations. Not everyone was as lucky as you." He took a moment's pause after saying this, something like sadness passing over his face for the briefest of moments. "Since we all made it out alive, I expect Team Delta to begin functioning as a more effective unit. So either we all learn to work together, or you die alone. It's your choice. That said..."
Concord pulled back the sheet to reveal the paintball guns hidden beneath. They came in all varieties, with protective gear and ammunition scattered in between.
As the agents rifled through the pile, he began speaking again. "The time limit for this exercise is 90 minutes, or until the last man is standing. There will be a prize for the winner, so don't half-ass it. There is to be no strategizing between agents and A.I., not even through your neural link. This is every man for himself. Oh, and try not to kill each, please."
Picking up the gun he'd selected for himself, Concord added, "And do try to have fun with it. We're on vacation.
"Time starts on my mark."
