Raises hand...I'd like to know your thoughts and reasons on how you made Robert's team... I'm so taken with his pokemon already!(yamper is pretty much beef as a pkmn)

Hey guys it's me, yourfavespokemonteam, back after a three month break. I had to lock in to graduate uni.

This is quite late but:

Mega Metagross: I haven't played this game myself, so I consulted someone who has and this was their #1 suggestion. I believe based on the suit he wore as/the legacy of mecha man.

Taillow: Incredibly gutsy with very little self preservation skills, a pokemon that continues to fight even when it knows it's beat.

Raticate: Have you seen the way that man lives? I like the idea that he begrudgingly befriended a rattatta that existed in that space and worked with it enough for it to evolve.

Sawk: These pokemon seclude themselves and dedicate themselves to nothing but borderline-abusive training. They're single minded in this venture to always do better.\

Yamper: You're correct that is Beef

Rhyhorn: Similar to Sawk, this pokemon is very single-minded and continues to fight and charge ahead without regard for its own safety or wellbeing.

Ah, I knew someone would ask about the dugtrio. Look, ok, listen. I just think it's funny to give him something that's a trio (reflecting the relationship between him, Erika and Ephraim) and also is known for. Earthquakes.

Love the Lady Ethereal team!! I see the idea for most of them but I'm just curious where you got the idea for Mega Clefable and Glimmora?

That's easy!

And mega clefable because clefable itself is a very caring Pokemon that at the same time constantly seeks escape, so rare that it's believed to not even exist or be a dream. And mega because it gives it wings, which is what happens to Lady Ethereal when you see her as a boss.

Hello!

Glameow - A fabulous creature that is perfect when content and fierce when mistakes are made. Seen as beautiful and without flaw even when it is being ruthless.

Hattrem - A Pokémon that reacts violently to overly strong emotions, preferring to just be perfect and calm. Plus color matching.

Braixen - Because Braixen evolves into Delphox, a witch Pokémon, this is to signify her being in training. Likely, one of her parents has a fully evolved Delphox and Diana's is a purebred after it.

Galarian Rapidash - Similarly, Rapidash is a highly magical Pokémon that is very prideful as well as powerful. I assume its similarly purebred. Plus the Galarian aspect connects back to Europe as Galar is based on the UK. Plus color matching.

Sinistea - Fancy yet tricky, with a touch of magic.

Minccino - Cleanliness. Minccino are incredibly organized and always busy with keeping things perfectly clean and in tip top shape.

So, basically, a lot of themes of being as perfect as possible with occasional hints of generational expectation.

Reasoning for Jack The Clown's team [besides Mime Jr and Popplio]? I think his team is perfect, even if I don't know the reasoning.

Wigglytuff - balloon pokemon. I think it's a fun balloon animal type thing and also just generally looks like a fun silly clown friend

Chatot - kinda mostly for the ruffles around its neck and also because of the mimicry, something clowns are known for. silly funny good to help with a joke or a laugh.

Wynaut - look at its fun smiling face

Sunflora - look at its fun smiling face and also the clown-ruffles-like petals

I love your picks for Nanao’s Pokémon, I think it’s perfect. I’d love to know the thought process behind them!

Hatterene - witch of the woods, known for violently killing humans for uh having emotions

Female Meowstic - female meowstic are aggressive and selfish and torment people with their psychic powers if they don't get what they want

Furfrou - aesthetic as well as that kinda "rich boy" vibe

Hydreigon - incredible violence

Parasect - is controlled by the mushroom which is a parasite. brainwashed.

Malamar - main thing is mind controlling people. that's nanao's thing too as far as i can tell. malamar was also, before the My Friend Malamar movement, generally associated with controlling people to do bad things

I know it wass posted awhile ago but I wanted to ask ye, Cimmerian's team, what wer the choices and decisions made for those?

Sandshrew - VIBES. I don't know I spent almost two full days reading through all of his stories and he just has one ok

Minccino - cleanliness and organization. he's an ethics inspector. and also i think it would get sad to see him when he. yk succumbs to his alcoholism all the time

Watchog - similar reasoning. ethics inspector.

Luxray - can see all. ethics inspector.

Surskit - also kinda vibes? sorry. i think the funny way he moves around and ends up in ridiculous situations is reminiscent of the way this little thing skates around

Galarian Farfetch'd - he's tough and violent when he needs to be

I'm curious about your reasoning of picks for Mr Wolf

Mimikyu - the idea of pretending to be what you're not, or trying to appeal to people by acting/looking nice and still coming off as scary

Skitty - the cat he saves in the film

Furfrou - the mr. poodleton thing, plus vibes, plus i think he would change its style for disguises

Thievul - i know you may say this is a better choice for diane but i like the idea of him having one. if even as an homage of sorts to the crimson paw
