Hey ☺️ just wanted to come in here and say happy Star Wars Day to the Resistance fandom! 💚 I know we are not the biggest fandom around in SW, and a lot of times we have to endure so many mean comments from other fans. But even if we are a small community, i think we are a mighty one. I really appreciate everyone who continues to share their love for Resistance and their favorite characters 🌠 I've met some really cool people here and I hope we can continue the Resistance love and appreciation 🧡💚
Here's to us !
Art Fight Attack (revenge) for @spyvern !!! I absolutely adore the designs of these 2!!! They're just so cool and so full of personality!
From the scale 1-10, how much exactly you like star wars resistance animated series ? I wanna know 😁
Ohh that’s a tough one, it’s pretty high up there. It starts off cutesy like Rebels, but when it started to take a darker/more serious turn, I got more into it. But also the idea of the Colossus being a home and team Fireball being a family appealed to me. The characters are all pretty adorable, and I’m watching the show a second time through and enjoying it even more. The world-building aspect and learning more about the First Order and behind the scenes Resistance stuff is a fun addition too.
Another thing I liked about the show is most of the characters are adults. There were only maybe 3 kids/teenagers, and the rest of them are adults, some of them into their 50s-60s. I wasn’t expecting that from a “kid’s” show, so that was also a pleasant surprise.
All in all, I think the tumblr Star Wars fandom should give Resistance more of a chance. I’m glad I did.

All these idiots complaining that Star Wars Resistance looks too childish and light as if
1. it isn’t a family show whose primary target audience is actual children.
2. we don’t deserve some lighthearted Star Wars fun after being traumatized by Rebels just a couple months ago.
3. that isn’t exactly how all the animated shows have reeled us in before stomping on our poor little hearts later on anyways.
