This stupid quote won't get out of my head:
"And when he tried a particularly bitter, 'I will destroy my son!' Sophie knew it definitely wasn't the right time for a nice long chat about her feelings."
Too funny to me. Too fucking funny.
TEAM FOSTER-KEEFE FOR THE WIN!
Keepers stans here is a song I love by a really good small creator that reminds me of Keefe and Sophie.... find it here and let me know what you think
Alright ladies, it's time I finally broke the silence and talk about Flashback
OKAY. so. first things first. I'm not finished with the book. I'm at the top of page 585 and OH BOY do I have some opinions. Now, I understand that I literally haven't posted anything on this blog in MONTHS but it's time to drag my sorry ass back into this fandom because things need to be *discussed.* First of all can someone PLEASE tell me why it took almost 450 pages for the book to actually start???? like don't get me wrong I thoroughly enjoyed every single sentence of those pointless 450 pages because I would thoroughly enjoy pretty much anything Keeper related as long as there's Quality Character Interactions™️. BUT STILL 450 PAGES OF SOPHIE LAYING ON HER ASS IN A COT SULKING AND RECOVERING FROM AN ATTACK THAT WOULD HAVE TAKING LIKE 20 PAGES TOPS IF IT HAD TAKEN PLACE IN ANY OF THE OTHER BOOK LIKE EXCUSE ME???? THAT AINT IT CHIEF. Secondly and most importantly, if Sophie and Fitz actually date I'll scream. And no, it's not bc I'm an avid Keefe stan, it's because Sophie and Fitz are SOO boring together and since I'm stuck reading the book from Sophie's point of view I would rather gut myself than have to deal with them swooning for each other and being the most bland couple on Earth thank you very much. Also can we get some LGBT rep in this pl0x? like can Biana fall in love with some girl and they can have a lovely sweet romance and just be pure and happy? ? ? actually can we just get more Biana in general? can we also get more uh,,,,,plot???? cuz there is only 260 more pages in this bitch and nothing has happened. but also wow I hecking love this book???? WTF IS UP WITH THIS WHY AM I HAVING THE TIME OF MY GODDAMN LIFE READING THIS SHIT TF??????
Keefe: so here's the plan-
Sophie: is it safe?
Keefe: Um-
Sophie: is it well thought out?
Keefe: well-
Sophie: is it even legal?
Keefe: ...
Keefe: how about you come up with a plan?
#sorrynotsorry
Keefe: I'm like a sweet peach on a hot summer day.
Sophie: you're like sour pickle on a windy day.
-_-
I have a feeling that every Keeper book ends more horrific and emotionally damaging than the last. Like the first book I was like "Man I need to know what happens now." The ending of Exile was more of a, "I HAVE TO WAIT A YEAR?!?! Come on." But no aggravating cliffhangers. But the ending of EVERBLAZE came, "OH MY EFFING GOD GET ME THE NEXT BOOK NOW OR I MAY BURN MY HOUSE DOWN IN FITS OF ANGER!" And then NEVERSEEN. Omfg NEVERSEEN she hit us unexpectedly there. "help. dear god I need help." i say as I rock back and forth in the darkest corner of my room curled up in a blanket with a carton of half melted ice cream by my lonely side. @shannonmessenger
Me after NEVERSEEN
Me: *On second to last chapter*
Me: *Running all possible endings in my head*
Me: *Finishes NEVERSEEN*
Me: *Rereads last chapter*
Me: *Puts book down*
Me: well fuck.
