🪻Friday Fic Bit🪻

Magnus’ eyes twinkled as he spoke and they shared a private sort of smile before Alec’s arm was ripped from Magnus’ shoulder.

“Stop hogging my new friend” Clary teased, “Go dance with your brother instead! It’s your duty as Best Man” and he could have easily been annoyed, but in the 13 years they had known each other, she had grown on him. There was a fondness for Clary that he couldn’t suppress, she was as much a sister to him now as Izzy was.

By the end of the night, it had just been Alec, Jace, Clary, Izzy, her new boyfriend Simon and surprisingly, Magnus. It felt natural, the six of them, laid on the grass outside the venue, staring at the stars. Magnus was telling Jace about the romance of teaching your lover about constellations and Alec confessed he had no clue about stars.

Tapping the grass next to him, Magnus said “Come here Alexander, let me teach you about the stars” and Alec was grateful for the cover of darkness that hid the inevitable blush on his face. He wanted to live in this moment forever, of Magnus, a stranger before tonight, teaching him the constellations as if they were lovers.

i cannot wait for jace and clary to get married. it will of course be wonderful because it’s them but i adore the details of it all. alec escorting jace and simon doing the same for clary. luke and clary doing the typical father daughter dance. jace asking kit to be apart of the wedding. mayrse doting over jace. jem officiating the ceremony. max and rafe most likely being flower boys. julian painting the newlyweds as his gift to them. clary having izzy and emma be her bridesmaids even though it’s a mundane tradition. alec getting teary eyed and vehemently denying it. magnus feeling older then usual since clary was the first child he watched grow up. jace writing a song on piano and having jem play it for their first dance. just all the feels oh my.
