headcanon that kazuha is naturally popular with girls because he’s quiet and mysterious but also collected and cool, just has that calm look in his eye. it’s really alluring and though he never finds the interest to reciprocate, he does give his fair shy wave and small smile to the liyue city girls who hide behind their handheld fans and blush, giggling
headcanon also that xiao is Not popular with girls. he’s dark and mysterious but also a disaster; making random eye contact with him is the polar opposite of what it’s like with kazuha, with xiao’s resting glare and crossed arms, the naturally closed off and somewhat scary aura he provides
if you mix the two together you get xiao and kazuha walking together in liyue with girls fawning over kazuha then yelping in surprise when their eyes fall on xiao, xiao grumbling under his breath and walking faster ahead so kazuha has to jog to catch up and tug on his sleeve like “well if you growl like that and stomp away then they’ll REALLY hate you”, or in diluc’s bar when a girl takes a seat at the barstool next to kazuha and starts flirting with him, xiao sits there awkwardly and stares like 👁👁 over kazuha’s shoulder
Can be a little “Mean Girls” to Lux and the team, but it’s mostly out of a place of tough love. Mostly. It’s also kind of funny to mess with them.
Is more friendly with Sarah than the rest of her team, in account of their longer history.
Ahri has a habit of using her charm magic to get her way. She used it on Lux once to make her stay out of a fight.
Despite her attitude, there is a heart underneath, a heart hurt by the loss of her last team. She doesn’t want to lose anyone again, so she keeps most people at arms length.
Miss Sarah Fortune:
Superlative: Most likely to be a pirate captain. She agrees wholeheartedly. Star Pirate, fuck yeah.
Keeps a killcount score game with Ahri. It’s mainly for her amusement than anything else, but she loves when Ahri gets into it.
Like Lux and Jinx, has a bit of a rivalry with her leader. But they are close through shared experiences.
Ahri: Could you stop rushing in?
Sarah: And miss out on spending time with you? Nah.
Only Ahri gets to call her Sarah. To everyone else, it’s Miss Fortune.
Ezreal:
Ezreal is a free spirit type of guy. (His words, not mine.) Brought into Ahri’s new team by the First Star, he had to learn to work with others.
He misses the days of being a solo act, but he can’t deny the thrill of fighting alongside people like him. Even though Sarah pistol-whips him sometimes.
Has an eye on Lux, but every time he tries to make a move, it either blows up in his face, or the red haired girl threatens to blow up his face.
Despite his cocky demeanour, Ezreal does have a kinder side to him, most often seen with Soraka. They read the Spirit Blossom manga together.
Soraka:
One of the newer members of Ahri’s team and the most outwardly empathetic towards Lux and her team. She often acts as a mediator between some of her teammates… unpleasant attitudes, although can be a tad reserved when thing get too high strung.
Has a fond interest in stargazing, and can often be found looking up to the night sky. Sometimes. Ezreal joins her. She likes the company.
While Lulu sees the Starlight as a friend, Soraka sees it as a patron to be assisted. They’d probably have some fun conversations together.
There is one way to flare up her temper, and that is by putting your needs above others. There was a moment in her old life where she tore into someone for putting someone’s life at risk for their own skin.
Syndra:
Like Janna, Syndra is a veteran Guardian, but while Janna attempted to retire her duties after a devastating loss, Syndra went missing for several years. She now returns as an advisor for Ahri’s team.
Janna can’t help but feel uneasy around her. Her return feels too coincidental, and she seems different than Janna remembers.
“Stop talking to Lux.” “Why, I’m just giving her some motivation.”
Despite the air of mystery and uncertainty, Syndra’s drive to accomplish her ambitions are unquestionable. One can only hope those ambitions remain noble.
Gizmo was given to May as an Eevee egg, by the Daycare Couple.
Gizmo's parents were both show Pokémon, so Gizmo tends to be more fluid and graceful.
Gizmo rejected every single evolution stone May tried to give him, did not want to go near the Mossy Rock, and, while he did love May, he preferred chillier places. He finally evolved when May explored Shoal Cave.
He evolved just before May took on the Mossdeep Gym.
True to his typing, Gizmo can be rather cold toward the new Pokémon May catches. The exception, of course, being ice types.
He considers himself a role model for Eevee, as sort of an ambassador of his evolution, if you will.
Does not like hot places, but will provide cooling relief to May and the other partners when needed.
Was the one member of May's team to see her wake up from the nightmare she had when they reached EverGrande City, and comforted May after the fact.
Once threatened to freeze Flash if he didn't stop trying to steal food.
Is still angry at himself for not being able to do more against Kyogre. Despite his irritation toward Flash's mischievous ways, he hated seeing how grievously wounded he got.
I love your team hcs, so could I get some for a team of the traveler, Xinyan, Amber, and Ganyu?
Here you go, Annony! Hope it will be a pleasant read and sorry for being so late 💕
Team Headcanons: Traveler, Xinyan, Amber and Ganyu
You were excited to have Amber join you on your missions in Liyue. She was an amazing friend and you spent many great days camping around Mondstadt sometime ago, before you had to part ways.
She was finally able to arrange a leave for a special mission. You met her right at the border between cities by the Stone Gate, and it was a really sweet long awaited reunion.
You introduced Amber to your Liyue gang - fiery musician Xinyan and hardworking secretary of Qixing Ganyu. They all got along pretty well.
Amber was naturally outgoing and made friends easily. It was even easier since she and Xinyan could share their experience in having a Pyro Vision which was pretty rare and often judged by it’s “destructive” nature.
Xinyan absolutely ADORED her Baron Bunny and even asked Amber to sew her one too. “Could you make it like double explosive? That would totally rock!”
Ganyu really appreciated Amber’s fiery enthusiasm and dedication to complete any task. She never knew much about Mondstadt’s Outriders, but Amber’s example made her believe it was a very respected guild. “Maybe we should think about organising something similar in Liyue. It may appeal to the youths not too interested in starting business... I’ll add it to my to-do list!”
Amber had assumed Ganyu could be a catalyst user or something, but how shocked she was to learn she was actually a talented archer! Amber knew from the start she could learn a lot by training with her. She even volunteered to help Ganyu with some errands to make free time for some training.
You were more than happy to see the three of them get along so well. Your daily missions became much more fun since Amber joined you, maybe she was that spark that had been lacking before? Her contagious energy kept you going even on the worst days, it was truly never a dull moment with her around.
And Amber herself loved every minute of the journey be it adventuring in the wild, helping Ganyu with some overtime work, or sneakily setting up a new stage for Xinyan’s rebel rock performance, followed by the rushed escape from the angered Millelith.
- Okay and when I start performing this sick new guitar riff you make it rain with fireworks like wooosh!!!
- Oh Seven, if I hear one more rumour about you two burning something again, I swear to give you out to Millielith myself!
- Sorry, Ganyu, gotta’ go prep for the show! It will be ~fireee!!
- Please, don’t.
You finally could spend all the time you wanted together. Amber prepared a whole list of amusing rumours from Mondstadt for you to laugh about, and you had many stories about your Liyue adventures to share.
“No way! A Geo Archon himself?!”, “A blood-thirsty Fatui boy? Nah, you are kidding! One of the Eleven too?! Ewww, nooo!”, “Pirates, and ghosts, and zombies? You know what, I won’t believe a single word you say before you show me. Let’s go tomorrow!”
One day Amber shared a really personal story of her’s, which turned out to be quite a surprise. You never would’ve guessed she was Quarter-Liyuan, and her motivation to help you out with adventures in Liyue became even more justified.
“...So my Grandpa disappeared a few years ago. You probably herd some rumours back in Mond, about the fallout of Outriders and everything.” It was unusual to see Amber suddenly so serious and even sad. She fiddled her fingers frowning, gaze staying low at the ground level. “I thought maybe I could find some info about him here, maybe he decided to return to his homeland for some reason. He rarely said something about his origins, so I wouldn’t know where to look.”
With a sudden urge to cheer your friend up you took her hands in yours. When things came to family you knew better than anyone how hard it must feel.
“Don’t worry, I’ll help you out. We can start the investigation this moment! I’m sure Ganyu will find a way to help us out too. You shouldn’t hesitate to share something like that with me.”
Her face finally lightened up with a soft smile and her grip on your hand tightened.
“Thank you, y/n! You really are my bestest friend!”
Ooh, sounds like fun! My current team is Ganyu, Beidou, Qiqi, and Diluc. Personality wise, I’d say I’m a lot like Ganyu. Reserved and not much of a talker. I consider myself pretty analytical of other people and surroundings, probably due to my anxiety. I hope this is enough info 😬
Yepyep!! Thank you very much! Noooow~
TEAM HEADCANONS:
Diluc and Beidou are the team parents.
He and Beidou get along...surprisingly well. They both follow their own creed when it comes to doing good in the world. While Beidou is a bit more wild in nature, there’s a silent, mutual understanding between them.
Except when Beidou gets drunk. Diluc can’t stand her when she’s drunk. She’s the cheery, touchy-friendly kind of drunk and he HATES IT.
Qiqi is team baby!! At first, Diluc isn’t really convinced she’d be a good teammate, saying “She’s even younger than the Spark Knight.”
Diluc quickly shuts up after seeing her fight. Also! She likes to mess with the fluff on the end of Diluc’s coat.
While Beidou and Diluc are the team parents, the most responsible ones are Ganyu and Diluc. Both of them often act as the voice of reason. Imagine it as a “good cop, bad cop” type of thing.
All together, you’re certainly a unique group. A tall brooding man, a rough pirate captain, a half-adeptus secretary, a child zombie, and a foreign traveler. And yet, the nights you spend together are ones you won’t ever forget.
Around the campfire the mood is joyous and proud. Qiqi sitting quietly in someone’s lap as you chat away. Mostly it’s Beidou regaling everyone with tales of the sea, with Ganyu chiming in every now and then with some interesting facts~
Sometimes when you have trouble talking or communicating your thoughts, the others step in to help. Diluc is most attuned to this, having traveled with you the longest. A real “Excuse me. She asked for no pickles” type of vibe.
In a fight, you go in pairs. Diluc and Beidou are the hard-hitters, you and Qiqi make the final attack, and Ganyu supports from a distance.
Qiqi’s favorite people on the team are you and Ganyu. Ganyu because she also has a cryo vision, and you....she just likes you <3
It makes you smile, seeing everyone get along, and seeing the impact that you have on this world.
You’re doing good here, and even after you find your brother, it’s a group like this that makes you want to stay in Teyvat.
Ray of sunshine covering a lonely core. Parents are a bit overprotective and focused on assuring her daughter’s future. Garen tries to give her some guidance, but she sometimes feels trapped in the expectations.
Bullied by the popular girls, because being a little clumsy and earnest equals bully fodder. Garen used to stick up for her, but she doesn’t want to be known as the girl who can’t fight for herself.
Admires how Jinx can just do things without worrying about what people think. That being says, she does butt heads with Jinx a couple times.
When it comes down to it, she’s a hero. And a leader unlike any other.
Jinx:
Vi’s younger sister, used to go by Powder before some things happened. Not Arcane level tragedy, the Vander-fam is still alive and functional (for now). But something happened.
Knew Lux as a kid, drifted away when Lux’s mother became a bit overprotective, met again in high school because Lux lives in a rom-com.
Agent of mischief. Has set off fireworks at school. Will do it again. Has an idea for an awesome graduation present, if she makes it that far.
Urges for Lux to do crazy stuff. It turned out that one of Lux’s ideas was to kiss her. Smooth moves, flashlight.
Despite her disregard for rules and butting heads with her teammates, Jinx can always be counted on to pull through with an explosive comeback. Literally.
Poppy:
Father moved around a lot, leaving her with little time to build lifelong bonds. She copes by focusing on schoolwork.
Doesn’t like thinking of herself as a hero. Just doing what has to be done. But, it does feel nice to see herself in the news, even from afar.
Has a secret appreciation for the Battle Academia series. Yes, it’s cliche schlock, but it’s fun, okay?!
Has a bunch of team attacks with Jinx. It almost makes her ignore the height jokes. Almost.
Lulu:
Can communicate to the First Star in her dreams, although she doesn’t quite know how. Was convinced it was just an imaginary friend until she became a guardian.
Major sweet tooth. Coffee is kept as far from her as possible.
Keeps beating everyone in video games. Poppy isn’t bitter about it, of course she isn’t.
Lulu and Jinx have conversations that nobody else can decipher. It scares them.
Despite her demeanour, she has a great sense of magical power. Acts as a healer and support member.
Janna:
Mom friend. Most common expression is a tired glare followed by sipping tea. Affectionately called “The Janna glare.”
Despite her outward calmness, she does have doubts brought upon from her old team’s fall. Her only hope is that these new recruits aren’t doomed to follow.
Good listener, especially with Lux’s doubts. Even Jinx has moments where she can’t he’ll but be moved.
Stands up for Lux whenever Ahri’s team step out of line. Has a history with Syndra, but keeps it to herself.
Nimbus made his presence known while May was on her way to Meteor Falls to stop Team Aqua. May had no intention of catching another Pokémon at the time, but Nimbus was persistent, and May caught him.
Was the team member that fought against Team Aqua in the Falls, and, despite being weaker than the rest of May's team at the time, defeated Aqua alongside Brendan's team.
Was instantly impressed at Firelight's ability to Mega Evolve, and desperately wanted to do so himself, as a way of proving he belonged on May's team.
Is known to go overboard on training, to the point where he works himself to collapse. It was worse when he was still a Swablu though.
Is often paired up with Firelight when May breaks her team up into pairs for training.
Nimbus almost blew May into a lake when they first started training with Mega Evolution. He didn't realize how much stronger the beat of his wings had gotten.
Is frequently used as a pillow for May and the other members of the team, especially when traveling.
Does not like water. Not because of the battle with Kyogre, but because it makes his wings feel really heavy. He grooms himself frequently to try to avoid any normal baths. It does not work on days they've been doing training.
Along with Shadow, is May's recognized therapy Pokémon. Nimbus will allow May to hide herself in his wings whenever the need arises, and will provide as much of a blanket for her as he can.
Nimbus is also the Pokémon May travels with the most if she has to go on a boat. He will be on the deck with her as an emergency escape route should anything happen with the ship.
can i request team headcanons for: fischl, zhongli, xinyan, and sucrose?
Hey, thank you for your request and I’m terribly sorry for the long wait!
Team Headcanons: Fischl, Zhongli, Xinyan and Sucrose
Zhongli is most definitely the dad of the group. He may be distant and quiet at times, but it doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about his teammates.
His care will manifest itself in a lot of different ways. Sometimes he brings some snacks with him to give to the girls during their travels, shields them during battles or brings some pretty flowers always going on about some interesting floral facts or meanings behind certain plants in culture.
He truly respects Fischl’s identity and never shows even a tiny bit of disturbance despite her obscure way of communication. She unexpectedly liked his company too and in return didn’t ask questions about him coincidentally resembling geo archon.
Zhongli found himself and Sucrose sharing a common attitude of mind, so he gladly helped her with all kinds of experiments with Liyue flora and fauna. She was a bit shy at first, but had quickly realised Zhongli was being genuine and moreover a very knowledgeable man who truly knows what he is talking about, even though he may seem quite eccentric at times.
It was like he never runs out of stories to tell, and Sucrose, being the most patient in the group, often served as the best listener. Sometimes she even got a bit too invested, so Fischl and Xinyan almost had to cover her mouth a few times, when she was eager to ask for another story to listen to.
Xinyan was probably the most reluctant to hang out with “the old man in his old pompous suit”. They didn’t match well in character, so Xinyan often stayed quite annoyed by Zhongli’s antics. Her rebellious nature could not allow her to hang out with some old-timer, who, at the first glance, perfectly resembled all that she despised in people.
She mostly preferred Fischls company since they both had this unconventional vibe going on. Xinyan loved her fashion sense but perceived her character as more of a stage image, she was quite surprised to find out she is not a part of some famous Mondstadt band.
When Zhongli first overheard Xinyan complaining to the Traveler that he “doesn’t rock», he decided it was time to step up his game to appeal more to the young generation.
The next time Xinyan started throwing some snarky comments during one of the missions Zhongli decided it was a perfect time for a show.
Without looking back at his much younger teammates, he masterfully casted his meteor ult. Needless to say, Xinyan’s heart has melted right there and then. She actually was impressed enough to ask Zhongli to help her with decorating the scene for her next show and maybe to thrown in a few “special effects”.
