Cobblemon

A friend found a free server for us, a small group, to play together on a cobblemon server. Been pretty fun! But since we immediately stole from villagers, we decided to be kinda 'Team Rocket' equivalent in game. Not evil, world ending villains, but goofy slightly inconveniencing villains. XD We are Team Insomnia. Since we both tend to play in the wee hours of our timezones. So, I have a Mesa branch, and my friend has an Arctic branch. (third person will join later when life calms down.) And maybe a plan for a 'main branch' type of location as a joint project later. But we were talking in game, and thought it might get a chuckle out of minecraft people here. Me: "My base is kinda inspired by a deathstar. But I think I might have a bit more railings. I mean, we are 'evil' team Insomnia, what is a base without some OSHA violations?" XD

i don’t know if it’s aging or sky high baseline stress levels or what, but for whatever reason, jet lag’s current manifestation is to wake me up at 5:30 am every day for ten or so days, which it does with the most magnificent disregard of trivia such as whether i’ve flown east or west or what time i go to bed.

and the joke is on jet lag bc this is pretty acceptable? like, i very much do need more fucking sleep, i just got three solid hours and could have used nine, but that’s a chronic lifelong problem and i have a rich toolbox full of coping methods for dealing acutely. time spent awake when others mostly aren’t and are therefore not about to make demands on me is just as nice at this end as it is the other end. breakfast foods is good foods, i am broadly pro-breakfast. all things considered, this feels like an oh noes please don’t throw me in that briar patch situation.

Been up since 1:30 this morning. 2nd cup of meade in and litterally still going strong. I'm just not gonna sleep guys. Sleep isnt a thing anymore. Its just a myth. And I gotta be up at 8 in the morning. Fuck it. Im writing. I haven't been able to write for two days

It's almost 2am and I'm still awake. Go Team Insomnia™. I've been keeping secrets from everyone. I know I shouldn't. I kinda want to tell my secrets, but I also don't. I like my secrets. They make me feel safe. But they also put me in a not so good place.
