Day 17 - First song/album you ever bought.

Pure Heroine • Lorde

The first album I ever bought was Lorde’s Pure Heroine. Back in early 2013, I was rising again in my music taste. There was a time in my life (shockingly) where I hated music and kind of just listened to whatever was on the iTunes top charts. This was a dark time. One day, I stumbled upon Lorde’s “Royals” (far before anyone else had because I’m just that good). From there, I fell in love with this spunky New Zealander. I’m never confident in an entire album, and rarely when an artist releases an album do I download the whole thing. However, there was something exciting and fresh about Lorde that enticed me to preorder her first album. It could’ve been shit like I didn’t even have the chance to listen to any of it before putting my eggs in her basket, but I took the risk anyway. Now I’ve been waiting 3 years for her next album...
