Team Up I Didn’t Know I wanted ‘till just now...

Post Leviathans, instead Sam weirdly just wandering off after Dean vanishes, he sets about hunting down the Leviathan, finding Kevin, and ends up running into Charlie.

The three of them become a unit (and the other hunters are terrified because the Winchesters never let anyone into their club, now there are two of them).

With Sam being there task master they become over the next year a formidable nerd unit.

“If I hadn’t distracted him when I did, you would’vebeen killed,” Nyssa countered, sensibly. “I knew he couldn’toperate both devices simultaneously. It was a risk, Irealise, but the plan worked perfectly. You’d have done the same had ourpositions been reversed.”

“That is…entirely beside the point, and you know it,” he huffed.
