petra solano has the biggest and most consistent growth arc on the entire show and i still see the fandom shit on her and claim that she’s a terrible person. let’s just have some compassion for her because she never knew what love was until jane and then jr romantically. her whole life she built a thick skin that caused her to build a wall around her heart and become manipulative but that all changed i mean the woman wore the ugliest green dress to apologise to jane and make her happy for crying out loud. she ACTUALLY cried and showed emotion this season, her heart was on her sleeve and if that’s growth ...

I’m beyond done with the shit that happens to petra. jennie, you put this poor beautiful human through enough, we don’t need to add car accident to the list and I think what makes it worse is that i knew she’d get hurt from the minute she picked up the phone and got into her car I knew she’d have an accident. I love Jane but I’m quite mad at her for letting Petra down like this. Although in the end they seem to reconnect, it’s Petra that had to do all the work to keep being a part of the family, Jane doesn’t even see how hurt she really is. Don’t get me wrong i love JR and Petra’s new relationship (that will hopefully grow to be something more) but Petra shouldn’t have to rely on a stranger to confide and share her emotions. 

The fact that Rafael almost cut her out of his life and that Jane goes along with it makes me super mad. Someone needs to remind him that he's got a family besides Jane and Mateo.
