Sketchy Rocket Silver (no pun intended) for @sexysilverstrider (2021) - Don’t repost.
favorite way to spoil their pokemon
Oooo! I like this one! I’m sure Admin Gio and I will have fun writing this headcanon!
Giovanni:
- It’s clear to anyone who has ever interacted with Giovanni knows that he has a favorite child Pokemon, and it’s Persian.
- This man flat out refuses to let his pretty kitty stay confined within a Pokeball.
- More often than not, Persian will be at his side or even on his lap, receiving precious ‘srittcha scrattcha time’.
- Also, since this man is the King of the underground crime syndicate, you know that his Persian will be perched right up there with him, receiving all sorts of lavish gifts.
- (Really… who needs a diamond-encrusted laser pointer and special dental treats imported from Kalos?)
- If he doesn’t enjoy your company, Giovanni will coax you into playing with his Persian.
- In layman’s terms: Persian gets to use you as a scratching post if you piss him off.
- In short, Giovanni treats his Persian better than his own son… and that’s sad. (but same)
Silver:
- Silver wasn’t much for showing affection after leaving his father; so in the early stages, he didn’t really spoil his Pokemon.
- Sometimes he would yell at them less or not hit them, but that was it.
- (He’s working through his daddy issues, okay?)
- However, everything changed once enough people told him how much of a twerp he was being.
- After that, he made a conscious effort: he’d give some form of a compliment or two, awkwardly pet his team, and attempt to find their favorite berries.
- Though old habits are hard to break, and he’d go back to yelling and berating once more.
- But he wouldn’t dare to hit them again.
- In the end, his team sees that he’s remorseful in the end and that he’s trying to be a better trainer.
Maxie:
- Though Maxie isn’t the most affectionate towards… well, anyone, he does have a soft spot for his oldest companion, Camerupt.
- Regardless of whether or not he has the time, Maxie will set aside exactly one hour each day to brush and clean his Camerupt.
- (He would also count how many brush stroke and try to maintain a decent average for maximum cleanliness.)
- (Scratch that: he’d hum a tune and make funny little lyrics while his Camerupt huffs in enjoyment.)
- Even when others question him about it, he won’t admit his affections nor favoritism.
- Instead, he’ll just make up an excuse about not wanting to track dirt everywhere.
- But we know the truth, Maxie.
Archie:
- Saying that Archie is loud and obnoxious at times is an understatement; so of course this will spill over to how he’d spoil his main Pokemon: Sharpedo.
- When they’re not venturing the High Seas, he can, and will, wrestle Sharpedo when they’ re both raring to go.
- Also, races and diving competitions is a given.
- (This man is a powerhouse in the water..? Wtf?!?)
- Moreover, when they are on the clock, Archie will find time to let his sharky buddy explore the various bodies of water.
- (One time, he was stupid enough to let Sharpedo swim in the local swimming pool… It wasn’t a good time for anyone: patrons fled, Sharpedo got sick from the chlorine, and Archie got permabanned.)
- Lastly, even though he may seem like Fraternity’s worst nightmare, he still cares about his Pokemon’s oral health, oddly enough?
- ‘We gotta keep yer pearly whites clean, Old Blue!’
Cyrus:
- (I’m not gonna lie, Cyrus threw me a curveball, but Admin Gio narrowly caught it with his teeth.)
- A shock to everyone: Cyrus can actually form an emotional attachment to someone: his Crobat.
- However, because of his stoic attitude paired with his nihilistic viewpoints, it baffles everyone when he calls Crobat into battle.
- Though his ways of affection are unconventional (and nonexistent???), it didn’t stop his previously known Golbat to evolve. (somehow???)
- Anyway, I suppose that the secret about their bond will remain a mystery.
Ghetsis:
- Ghetsis is a garbage human being who doesn’t treat anyone right; this especially rings true for his Pokemon, namely Hydreigon.
- You’d think with his saccharine words about liberation would mean that he has the utmost respect for his partner… but no.
- Daily abuse: crammed into its Pokeball, only to be let out during battles, scolding and harsh punishments if it loses, deprived of basic necessities, you name it.
- The only ‘spoiling’ Hydreigon receives would be a slightly bigger portion of food, but that only happens when he sweeps a team (which given its condition, is r a r e).
- Hell, it even knows f u s t r a t i o n, a move that gets STRONGER when a Pokemon HATES their trainer.
- (And he calls N ‘the freak without a human heart’…)
N:
- ‘Wait.. whats spoiling?’
- The pure cinnamon roll that is N doesn’t ’spoil’ his friends…
- He l o v e s his friends.
- All of his Pokemon are, quite literally, members of his family: each and every one of them has special quirks and personalities, which N uses to figure out what they like to do.
- For instance, Zoroark, who’s like a brother to N, loves sweet foods and to get its long, red fur brushed.
- So, N will personally make sure his brother has enough treats and will take the time to detangle Zoroark’s fur.
- (Sometimes, he’ll even braid it!)
- Overall, N is such a giver to his Pokemon friends!
- (But… he needs to learn the word no at some point….)
Lysandre:
- Lysandre is all about that aesthetic, and so is his Pyroar.
- This boy will spend HOURS grooming his beautiful fur baby: we’re talking about brushing, clipping nails, picking boogers, flossing teeth, EVERY. LITTLE. THING.
- In turn, he also spends an equal amount of time grooming himself (same routine, of course).
- It’s all worth it, though, because they end up looking like brothers of the same majestic Pride.
- Also, forget about such childish things as toys and scratching posts: Pyroar is too regal for such commoner filth.
- (It would much rather spend its time sat alongside Lysandre, overlooking the petty nuances of daily life.)
Lusamine:
- Like Lysandre, Lusamine is all about that a e s t h e t i c, and how she..
- spoils her Pokemon…
- reflects that….
-……..
- Okay, she freezes the Pokemon that she deems ‘perfect’.
- (It’s not ideal, but hey! Love comes in many forms…. I guess?)
Guzma:
- Guzma is like an older brother to many; and to his Pokemon, he’s basically a devoted father.
- He makes sure each and every one of his Pokemon feel wanted and deserving of love in the form of making them cheesy Christmas sweaters (its a tradition) and home cooked food.
- If any of his Pokemon get into a scuffle alongside him, you know Guzma’s going to be treating their injuries first, no matter how insignificant it is.
- He has personally raised all of his beloved buggy bois from when they were hatchlings, so he knows them like the back of his hand.
- Take his relationship with Golispod, for example: those two are like two peas in a (Golis)pod!
- (Hell, Golispod’s the one that came up with the signature Team Skull hand signs, yo!)
- In short, Guzma is a dork and we all love him.
father's day headcanons for silver and giovanni?
This is the first time I’ve gotten something for Silver. Dayum.
-In his young childhood, Silver hated Fathers’ Day. Giovanni was almost never home, and so he never really got to connect with his own father. Seeing other children happily walking around with parents made him sick to his stomach, and at one point he bought a Fathers’ Day present just to burn it. After all, Giovanni did kinda abandon him.
-As he grew older, Giovanni realized that he needed to spend more time with his son. He got back into contact with him and they began to bond more, trying to recover the many years lost. One Fathers’ Day, Silver went up to Giovanni and presented him with the first true gift he’s gotten him. The mob boss excused himself for a minute, and went to cry.
-The two spent Father’s Day at one of Giovanni’s favorite restaurants, where disguised Team Rocket grunts acted as security for the father and son. There, they finally had their truest, most heart-to-heart talk. By the end of it, they had fully reconciled, and left half of the goons there in tears.

How do N and Sliver act with each other?
Admin Guz:
I personally wanted to do this one because I LOVE the potential interactions these two have. All you gotta do now is add Gladion and we’d have the Three Angsteers of Pokemon…
- Silver and N met each other when their fathers began negotiating a potential alliance.
- Their “playdates” were always arranged to be in N’s room, which irked Silver to no end because N always had “toys for babies and little brats”.
- He still was envious of N’s basketball court, though.
- It always ended with N in tears and Silver breaking a train car or two.
- After about three months of these “playdates”, they weren’t allowed to see each other anymore
- The deal fell through because neither Giovanni nor Ghetsis could ever compromise…
- N was, of course, devastated because he lost one of his few human friends.
- Silver said he didn’t care…
- But you know how Tsunderes are…
- However, once the two were able to separate themselves from their respective organizations and grew into independent trainers, N bumped into Silver in the Dragon’s Den in Johto.
- After some melancholic reminiscing, the two battled, and the winner…
- Was both because they were able to rekindle their once toxic friendship.
- On one hand, N lost his annoying nativity and his empathetic heart matured gracefully to pick up on Silver’s short temper and triggers.
- On the other hand, Silver grew out of his uncalled for defiance and learned to appreciate others, which allowed him to start connecting with N on a deeper level.
- They now have a monthly basketball match, where N absolutely destroys Silver.
The Ask Box is now Open!
