The Away Team
Clay had just walked into town. It was a simple village, as in it barely had the technology like the ones near Knighton. Oh Knighton, he wondered how his friends were doing without him. From what Ava and Robin had told him from the times e was absent, they had all tried to act like him. He hoped that Aaron would handle the absence. He definitely hoped that Macy didn't stress herself out temporarily running the kingdom while the King and Queen were on vacation. He had traveled very far and was finally here. This was the village near the Wizard's council's meeting area. The village of Mysticka. He had a good look around the place. It looked like those villages in the history books of the Golden age. As he looked around, he noticed some people were looking at him with wide eyes. it no surprise why. Ever since he unlocked his powers, his hand had turned into pure magic, along with Nexo Powers he downloaded to help his team from the Colossus. He was having trouble controlling his magic. Maybe if he learned more about his mother.....
Focus Clay. It's getting dark. He'll ask for any info on the Meeting place in the morning. Lucky for him there's an inn in this village. Before he walked in, he felt something behind him. He looked but nothing was there. Ever since he left, he felt that he was being watched. Better be safe than sorry and head inside.

"Hey! if you don't wanna get caught, try to keep the jingles to yourself!"
"S-sorry."
But Jestro couldn't help it! It was a miracle Clay hadn't noticed them yet. Ever since he overheard that Clay was leaving to learn more about how his mother had turned the way she did. Jestro had to follow him! i mean, he was finished with his community service after all. He was free to do whatever he wanted (BESIDES EVIL!!). That includes making sure Clay was ok, after all he would do the same for him. He would.... right? But he knew he wouldn't have gotten this far without Fletcher. Jestro knew he wasn't the stealthiest or the most graceful, so he had a feeling he was gonna get caught eventually. So when he bumped into Fletcher, It was a miracle that he wasn't hit with the spear he was holding! But Jestro had his broom, for protection of course. Fletcher trusted him surprisingly enough to join him in following Clay, said that "You seemed more like a Wet Cat than a Villain". Hurtful as it was, Fletcher was a big help for him. He knew how to stealth about, though he didn't know why Fletcher was following Clay anyway. He had told him that it was "None of his business" but he doubted it was anything bad. He was only a kid after all.
Anyway, he and Fletcher had to duck behind a building because Clay had looked behind him. His heart nearly jumped out of his chest as Fletcher looked to see if Clay had noticed him.
"Ok, he went in the Inn. I don't think he saw us."
Jestro had breathed one of the biggest sighs of relief and fell on the dirt road when he did. Finally, he could rest....Until he felt a sharp pain in his head as Fletcher had kicked him with his foot.
"Welp, let's go find us a camping spot."
"WHAT?!"
"SHhhhhhh! You want the entire village to hear you?!"
Jestro had covered his mouth with one of his hands as he held tight to the other. He continued to argue with Fletcher and they both started to walk towards the woods.
"Why can't we just sleep here?"
"In the streets?"
"Coming from experience, it's not as bad as you think if you had the right tools."
Fletcher looked at him with wide eyes. Jestro blushed so red despite his pale skin. Goood job Jestro, that's a normal thing to say. Not awkward at all. Stupid Stup-
"You're right."
Jestro focused back on Fletcher when he said that. He was smiling at him, a smile that understood like Clays.
"But we definitely would track attention if a Jester and a kid were sleeping on the streets."
Jestro slowly nodded, it felt nice that someone believed in him like how Clay used to
"G-good point. But where do we sleep then?"
"The woods!"
Jestro stopped dead in his tracks, right in front of the woods entrance.
"Y-you mean The Untamed Woods?"
Jestro looked at the woods. He had overheard from the villagers' conversations that these woods was full of Untamed Magic. It had caused the woods to go crazy and unpredictable. It was a miracle that none of the plants were snapping at the both of them now! Oh he was spiraling, he hated spiraling.
"You ok?"
Fletcher's voice snapped him out of at as he voiced his spiraling thoughts.
"But what if the plants attack us in our sleep? Or just straight up eat us? Or-"
He felt a hand on his shoulder. Fletcher had put it there as he gave him a reassuring smile.
"Well, we can't sleep in the inn, can we? Besides I have done Camping in plenty of woods. What's one more?"
Jestro should have said no. But he always felt brave when Clay gave him that face. Looks like it's the same for Fletcher. He nodded his head, giving Fletcher the go ahead. it wouldn't kill them to spend one night in these woods..... Right?

Today was a beautiful Morning. Or it would be if Wicka hadn't opened her eyes to Venelope in her face.
"Couldn't you wait for breakfast, for at least 5 minutes?"
Vee licked her face. That meant no.
"Ok, Ok. Let me get dressed first you lil Sneak."
She got up and Dressed in her Best. Her dress, her boots, Vee's pot and of course, Her hat. But as she went to grab it, a memory flashed by.
"You're a hat is amazing..."
"You can have one to if you actually came to village once in a while."
"Yeah, but i rather earn one."
"Ha ha, that's why we're friends. You don't wait for anything."
"And the reason I'm friends with ypu is so youre brother won't lecture me again."
"HAHAHAHAHA!"
She smiled sadly at that. But she couldn't let it keep her down for long! These woods don't wait for anyone! She and Vee cooked themselves a big breakfast, or at big as it could get thanks to Vee and her endless stomach. She then Grabbed her Brella and walked out the door. The crickets were chirping, the plants were snapping and from she could hear, the villagers were going by their day to day. She sat on her Brella and flew off. She looked down from t=above, the plants weren't as bad today. As long as villagers used their head, things should be-
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"
She jinxed it. It sounded like it came from not far from where she hovered. She listened again.
"WHERE DID THESE FLOWERS COME FROM?!"
"I KNEW THIS WAS A BAD IDEA!! DANG IT JESTRO, WHY DON'T YOU LISTEN?!"
There they were. And by the gods did one of them look weird. Well, time to knock some heads. Both plant and people alike.
