Captain Little is Team Visa right? I hope we see her, we haven't heard from her in a while, I miss her (I know that's probably not something she'd do but I'm hoping)

Yeah she is - must say I’m hoping she’ll do a vlog too but frankly as it’s Kim she probably won’t! I miss her too - hopefully we’ll get some sort of an update as to how she’s getting on in lockdown.

After the announcement in December that VISA had committed to a 7-year deal in support of the growth of women's football in Europe they have now unveiled 13 players from around Europe who are part of 'Team VISA'

"... at Visa, we are dedicated to growing the acceptance of the women’s game globally.

And today, we’re making a commitment to support Women’s Football with a marketing investment equal to our support of the Men’s FIFA World Cup in Russia, in 2018. We will play our part in ensuring the women’s game gets equal standing, recognition and appreciation as the men’s game because it’s about time."

Whats the point of the whole Team Visa thing? Are they gonna play together as group or something?

No I think it's a sponsorship thing - they did something similar for the Winter Olympics/Paralympics, Visa had a 'team' of athletes from around the world who they sponsored. It's not particularly clear from the press release but I'm guessing they'll do promotional stuff and it's a way of highlighting players from a lot of different countries.

The press release says "Team Visa is unified by athletes who embody Visa’s values of acceptance, partnership and inclusion, with athletic talent matched equally by their character."

Guess we'll have to wait and see what actually happens with it!
