Might I ask about the other rwby team you mentioned . I'm always a fan of rwby ocs .

Of course! They still aren’t very well developed, but I’ll give it a try.

Their team is called VOLD, pronounced “violet”. All of them are based on Monsters of greek myths and use dust in their weapons instead of guns (NOT EVERYTHING is a gun, Ruby!)

Venus Saphire is based on the Sirens (I’m kinda unhappy with her name, but I wanted a) another name that alludes to a planet and b) another name that alludes to a gem). Her Semblance is to attract attention with her voice (espcially when she’s singing) and her weapon is a electric guitar that can transform into a one-handed axe and a dust-bubble blaster, which creates big soap bubbles made out of water and different types of dust.

Her usual tactic is to create a lot of dust bubbles, then attract people with her semblance, until they solely concentrate on her and don’t see the bubbles anymore. Then she’ll play a chord on her guitar to make the bubbles pop and explode in the process. If that theory fails, Venus will either rely on her team or go into close combat.

I’m not quite sure about her character, but I think she’s a very happy and optimistic person. She’s in a romantic relationship with Oliver. Also her color pallete goes from dark blue to turquoise.

Oliver Gorgon(/es, I’m not sure yet), is a snake Faunus and based on the Gorgons/Medusa. He was born with a snake tongue and has a lisp because of that, which he is very emberassed of/got bullied for as a kid. For that reason, Oliver evades words that contain an s or z sound. Maybe he was also in the White Fang for a while (Like I said, I’m not sure about their backstories yet), but then he became good friends with Venus and left the organization when he saw how radical they became.

Oliver’s weapon is a whip/spear/sword with fire dust mables in it, which I call “Snake tongue” until I’ve got a better name. His semblance could be described as “stopping the motion of inanimate things” (I wanted his semblance to be petrification, but felt it would be a bit too OP, so it’s something in between) and he uses it also on his weapon. If relaxed, it’s a whip, but he can harden it to adjust it’s size, making it either a spear or a sword. Also, the dust marbles explode when hitting each other.

He’s a pretty quiet and cold character, who doesn’t trust people easily, but he warms up around Venus. His color pallete is all kinds of green, he has green hair and olive skin

Lavender ??? is yet the least developed character. He’s based on the Cyclops and has an eye patch. I have no idea what his weapon/semblance are.

He’s the fraternal younger twin of Dante, but is at least a head bigger than his brother. Lav is a pretty calm character, basically the “older brother” type of guy. He also likes to laugh loud and often. His colors are probably all kinds of pouple and black.

Dandelion “Dante” ??? is a lion faunus and the fraternal older twin of Lavender. He’s based on either the sphynx or the Manticor and his faunus traits are lion claws (like Tukson). I also don’t know his semblance, but his weapons are black gloves with dust wires that end on his nails, which gives him a bit of an Yang-like fighting style.

Dante is probably the most developed character. His mom is a lion faunus too and his dad is a human, like his brother. Dante is pretty short and has kinda an Edward Elric complex about it. He doesn’t like his full name because he thinks it’s too girly.

His mom and him were in the WF and she left when it became radical. Dante didn’t. They were fighting often about this, but he still stayed in. One night, the WF wanted to raid a dust warehouse, but the heist failed and all the members were caught by the police. Dante was one of them. Since one of the olicemen knew his parents, they brought him home. After that, Dante was so terrified he finally left the organization.

Yeah that’s it. Like I said, there’s still a lot to work on, but I’m pretty proud of my babies.
