im pretty sure it could be considered standard, but really its just plain ol MTG as far as i know, no special restrictions on cards. all our shit is clash packs and intro packs basically.
oh ok so just Casual. right alright then, without any other info except “high mana curve” I could suggest:
nissa’s pilgrimage, kodama’s reach, cultivate, harrow, search for tomorrow, mwonvuli acid-moss, explore for the early stuff; boundless realms is unparalleled late game
exploration and burgeoning for constant use; coalition relic, sol ring and other ramp artifacts can be considered too. especially see: mind stone, dreamstone hedron, and the middlerange one coming in the next set (hedron archive) because these can be converted to cards later. also original garruk ofc
creature based ramp: oracle of mul daya, courser of kruphix, sylvan caryatid, nissa sage animist (more expensive), yavimaya elder, sakura-tribe elder, farhaven elf, civic wayfinder, seedguide ash, primeval titan, solemn simulacrum, werebear, llanowar elves etc. (theres a load of 1-drop mana dorks), shaman of forgotten ways and somberwald sage, and druids’ repository for more creaturebased decks
land based ramp: thawing glaciers, temple of the false god, and nykthos for shitloads of mana potentially
if you want to add some draw to a ramp deck, try horn of greed or seer’s sundial (note: sundial isnt as good as it looks)
i started up with MTG cause my college buddies play it with a fake-card ob nixilis deck (loving his new PW in BFZ too) and moved on to an edited Intro pack 2013 thats based on monstrous red/greens with lots of buff cards added in, question is, what do you think are good mana gens for red and green like that? its a high curve deck so i need a lot fast, im already thinking collective voyage for one thing
well is it a Casual deck, a Commander deck, what format? (if it’s commander, who’s your general)
my general recommendations will depend on what kinda deck we’re talking, but for starters, veteran explorer + sac outlet (bonus points with feldon) for combo; tempt with discovery/explosive vegetation/nissa sage animist etc. for like midrange; new frontiers and boundless realms and ilk for huge ramp. if you have a few good lands to search up, realms uncharted is real nice
