... I'm so excited. The premiere of Denis Villeneuve's @dunemovie #DuneMovie2021 is set to open in theaters and stream on HBO Max on Thursday, Oct. 21. Villeneuve's epic adaptation of Frank Herbert's 'seminal novel' is supposed to be a two-part movie, but no news of a green-light for part 2 as of yet (that I know of, and I've been keeping track of the dailies, pr press, and press junket info.). According to GamesRadar, "The novel itself is split into three separate parts – "Dune," "Mua'dib," and "The Prophet" – while Villenueve's movie will be split into two." GamesRadar continues "However, if you're interested in diving deeper into Herbert's world, there's a bounty of material to explore." I have 75% of Dune related novels myself, and each time I go back to read one (or even snippets), I learn something new.
