The coloured ants
So.
The Group were in a cave, and had been attacked by dwarves (duegars) and ants (ankhegs). After one of the party figured out to use there alter shape to turn into a dwarf to control the ants they won the battle.
So later on they come to a locked door, they could hear multiple conversations on the other side of this door.
The wizard comes up with the idea to use the Ankhegs to distract the dwarves but was worried the dwarves would control the ants using their sheer numbers.
Then the Half orc rouge had an idea. To use the wax from his crayons to set the ants on fire that way the ants will be too panicked to listen.
So begun a session of colouring in ants.
The cleric coloured his with flames.
The wizard coloured his like Blue Eyes White dragon.
The fighter and Rouge worked on theirs together. The fighter rolled a 20. The rouge rolled a 1. So it looked like the Mona lisa, with a penis drawn on it.
So they decide to release their creatures through the door, using presitidation to light them and to open the doors. Little did they know it wasn't a camp they had attacked.
No, they had attacked the Undercity, which spanned 1000ft, with all kinds of races living peacefully, they had attacked with coloured in ants.
