Derby Handicap Winners!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Derby Handicap contest! Without further ado, we have our winners following yesterday's hectic Wood Memorial:

First place: Le--pamplemousse, with $104.30. Her Wood pick was Wicked Strong (1st with a $2 WPS of $32.20)

Z. Can you understand the mindset and logic used by the opposite spiritual opinion? An atheist understanding the belief in a higher power and vice versa.

Well yeah, I suppose. Faith is something ingrained within us for quite a long time. People need someone or something to rely on and believe, be it a tree or a god.

X. You can eliminate one of your five senses to substantially strengthen the others, which one and would you do it?

Straight up I would not do it. No way.

W. The men’s rights movement, legitimate cause or laughable, and why?

Literally don’t. Just. Oh my god. Big whiny babies. I can’t even like make words because legitimately it is so ridiculous.

V. A world without religion, good, bad, neutral?

There are ways it could be both. A world without religion is for so many, a world without hope and positivity. But it is also a world without prejudice and hate and ignorance.

I genuinely get so excited. My immediate thought is that it’s Eilidh or my best friend.

To be honest… I used to be a fucking shit head. So yes. And sometimes when I’ve had a really bad day I get uppity, but it’s usually cause my feelings are hurt. I know though that no one is any better for their beliefs. We’re all just bags of meat looking for something to hold on to.

Even if it’s hate, I usually think it’s funny. And honestly, so many people on here are great so I don’t get much hate anymore. 

D. Would you rather know everything the universe has to offer but in exchange lose all emotions or remain the way you are now?Very tempted to say know everything…yeah that.
