Hello tumblr-followers, here I am sharing my thoughts about shameless again. And again about gallavich. So i don't want to spoil you so, please STOP reading, when you haven't finished the fifth season yet and when you don't want to know a statement from an executive producer i recently read, i want to include now. Okay. So. I love the gallavich-development. The relationship really intensifies. But i just gave it a closer look and here is my messy brainstorming: So they experienced their homosexuality together. Ian had Kash, but from Mickey we don't know anything about earlier relationships or partners. Ian felt in love with the tough guy, but also wanted to have a romantic relationship, so that's what I think. And i want to appreciate this: Mickey got really more open towards his sexuality, after Ian "brought him" to this gay club where being gay was normal maybe for the FIRST time in Mickeys life (we all know, what his father did to him) and then there was the first really make-out-like long kiss in this club. After Mickey's coming-out they really are a couple and that's great. Nothing more to add to this thought-chain, idk. Here's another :D So in the beginning Ian is the more romantic guy, but this changes. Not only because of Ian's disease. Mickey becomes more aware of his feelings for Ian. And he really cares and in the fifth season he takes the relationship much more serious than Ian does. And he uses the three magic words, which I didn't heard from Ian's mouth yet. Okay. Sorry, if I'm wrong, but i just don't remember. "falling in love" doesn't count here. The executive producer said, there wouldn't be many gallavich-scenes be in the next season, because Mickey got in jail. (You know, Noel Fisher is pretty busy.) And I don't think this is bad. I'm not! The whole fifth season felt like a gallavich-season for me, i just hope they'll stay a on-screen couple. (In fact, I don't think that the season 5 finale diologue is an actual break up. There are unspoken words. And they have to be spoken and I look forward to see this.) I just hope, that the time Ian will have to spent without Mickey will help him. Really. I just wish there will be a scene in season six, where Ian says this: "Thank you, Mickey" This is so fucking important! o.o Can't wait for January. ^.^
