It's a regular day. No special weather, no big events, and no plans to do anything but lay in the dogs cafe and let as many of the pups cuddle up to him as possible.
First, though, he had some books to put away. While Gai was busy reorganizing some of the cats beds and their little outside escape area, Kakashi would focus on going through the new books they had gotten in and entering them into the system. He was quicker at typing the codes in so it only made sense.
Once they were entered into the system he would print out a sheet with their section listed beside each book and head off to sort them into the bookshelves in the cafe.
With a cup of coffee in hand and more energy than he had felt in days, Kakashi settled into his spot at the till and waited for Pakkun to get comfortable on his lap before beginning his work.
He was three books in when the door chimed, alerting him to a customer. Dragging his eyes away from the computer screen he smiled when he saw a familiar face there at the door. "Come to see the new dogs?" he asked playfully, rolling his eyes when Pakkun got up off of his lap and rushed over to the customer. "Traitor."
