It’s been a while since I last posted! My botched bilateral tibial osteotomies in 2023 ruined my life mostly. I put all things at a stop because I lacked motivation and was anxious about doing anything but things are coming together! I’m 18 years old now and we’re getting various integral doctors appointments done, I’m graduating, we’re getting a Cleveland clinic trip scheduled, and getting scans/procedures/new doctors set up. I’ve had a rough go of it but after my district dismissed me to tell me that no homeschooling ever got you a diploma; I’m officially graduating despite everything that happened. It’s going a lot better as of recent. My wheelchair that I got years ago, I still can’t use because it’s hard to set up five hours for wheelchair adjustment that’s an appointment that’s impossible to set up. I can’t sit up much because of how my hips are, my back of my chair needs to be very specific to fit me. We have several wishlists that I need to shrink but haven’t yet. We’re working on getting things for my graduation. It’s all scattered at the moment but things are good. My main missions at the moment are finding volunteering options virtually, working on creating a program that I’m researching how to do safely, and I don’t know; just thinking and figuring things out. We’re looking into hospitals in California too for my chronic pain and broken bones. This is scattered but life is doing better, I also have this new haircut that I love but I think that’s it. I’ll leave this off by saying that there’s a ton of new work by amazing people at Youth Journalism International. You can go check them all out below!⬇️
