Let me tell you a little story: a couple years ago, you would NEVER EVER see this picture. Why, you ask? I have two little blemishes on my chin, you may or may not have seen them. They're there because of breastfeeding hormones and forgetting to do my skincare routine, as happens. Things like this would embarrass me; I would try to strategically turn my face or use lots of make up to cover up or just not take the selfie at all! I would definitely NOT go on FB Live with them! Now today, I'm not only posting this selfie, I was on FB live, blemishes and all. I didn't point them out, I didn't care. I'm an imperfect human and I embrace my perfect imperfections. Those two blemishes will eventually heal but while they are there, they do NOT make me any less beautiful, they do NOT make me less of a person and they will NOT EVER make me think less of myself. So what if your hair, skin, etc isn't perfect? You're still beautiful on your own imperfect way. Embrace who you are, today and everyday! It's your imperfections that make you unique.
