Keeper Of The Realm done and dusted. Overall 3rd place and qualified for NSW Strongest Man 2019. Happy with the result but disappointed that I know I could have done better. But this is strongman, never settle, always strive to be stronger and faster. Frame Carry 240kg for 20m in 9.26sec. Stoked for a surprise 1st in this event. Overhead Medley 90kg keg, 100kg log, 110kg axle. Keg and log moved well. Gutted not to clean the axle. I know I've got reps at 110kg but in a medley I just didn't have the power to get a full clean. A disappointing 4th. Chain Yoke 300kg for 10m Yoke is normally a pet event for me, but swap in chains and it becomes something designed by satan to crush the soul and will of mortal men. 3rd place. Fingal Fingers 190kg x 2 reps. I've never touched this implement prior to yesterday and had no idea what I was in for. Stoked to get the 2 reps, but disappointed that I panicked a little on the last rep, after getting the 10 second warning, rushed and missed the last rep. 3rd place and good for overall second going into stones. Atlas Stone Series 100, 120, 140, 160 missed, 180 no attempt. After watching big Adam smoke through to the 140 but miss the 160,I knew I had to be quick but had to load 160 to nail down 2nd. Unfortunately I just didn't have it left in the legs to load it and Ads was quicker to the 140, taking 2nd and relegating me to 3rd on stones and 3rd overall.
