Ford’s eyes widen when he saw the baby kraken flying towards him then land on his face. Leave it to his twin to do something stupid and childish with an anomaly. He took hold of the sea creature with both of his six fingered hands and tugged it until eventually he pulled it off. However due to the suckers and it’s mouth his face didn’t really look that good as he stared angrily at Stan.

“I’m not even going to ask what you were doing with this.”

Nightmares Everywhere

Ford ran through the forest, dodging the nightmare realm monsters that appeared and tried to attack him. After he remembered what happened with Dipper and Mabel’s bags he took off to find his niece while having Dipper stay behind inside the house with his brother where they’d hopefully be safe.

His mind started going through what had happened today. Finding the rift’s case cracked, going to the crashed alien space ship with Dipper to get the adhesive needed to fix it, having a run in with the security bots, making Dipper his apprentice. It all went relatively well but now...now it was a nightmare.

The author wasn’t sure how except that Bill somehow got possession of someone that Mabel would trust enough to hand over the rift and taking that in mind he now regretted not trusting Mabel enough to tell her about the rift, that Bill was after it, why he was and to not give it to anyone else no matter what. But he didn’t and cause of that, this was what they had to deal with.

After some running he found Mabel in an area near the broken remains of the rift. He scooped her up into his arms and gently shook her to wake her up.

“Come on Mabel, honey. Please wake up.”

Ford frowned as it seemed to not be working. He wasn’t sure what but Bill had done something to Mabel and he was very worried over it as well as the fact that he may not be able to bring her out of it.

His thoughts got shattered when he heard a sound and he turned to see a nightmare realm monster. Thinking fast he held Mabel close to his body and took out his ray gun shooting it at the monster. Thankfully it had an effect and now given the chance he took off in the run to get back to the Shack.

"Grunkle Ford!" Mabel shrieked while she flung the shack's front door open- tears rolling down her cheeks. [teampersonality]

“Mabel? What’s wrong, sweetie? What happened?”

He quickly took the girl into his arms. He was very worried and scared as Mabel getting this upset over something didn’t mean anything good.
