So some random ideas I got for REVERSE PINES in Gravity Falls
These are strictly what I think Reverse PINES would be like in Gravity Falls, so itâs not really me correcting what other peoples headcanons are! And you are free to use these ideas yourself, I donât mind! You are free to reblog this too! But, okay, so if everything is reversed, here is how I think it would go for some characters??
Stanley Gleeful (Iâm believing this is his last name in the au all together) would be a married man. His wife most likely being Marilyn. Sheâs most likely much like how Budâs wife would be in canon, sorta a background character you randomly see tending to house chores.
Fiddleford is married, his wife never leaving him as she should in the canon. I feel Tate would be a bit like Pacifica but maybe younger than his canon? A teenager you could say.Â
Bud Pines and Preston Northwest are BROTHER IN LAWS. The wives are sisters.
Prestonâs wife passed away due to unknown causes, which leads Preston be go insane with grief and become the town crazy man. This leads Pacifica to live with her aunt (Gideonâs mother) and Gideon in California.
Bud and his wife are going through a divorce or are already divorced. Gideon visits his father every summer and Paciifca tags along. Which makes Gideon and Pacifca first cousins!
Fiddleford RESIDES AT GRAVITY FALLS LAKE, aka has a mansion/house by the lake. He moves because his âfirstâ mansion become unstable to live in.
The first McGucket Mansion is haunted and Fiddleford, just not wanting to deal with it, abandons it. The house becomes a local hot spot for teenagers and young pre teens to gossip.
DUSK 2 DAWN is a running, working business. The old couple never died/passed away and Gideon and Pacifca often to go the convenience store for snacks and slushies.
So pretty much the Northwest Manner and DUSK 2 DAWN are switched in the REVERSE AU in my head. I think it makes sense.Â
The episode âNorthwest Mansion Mysteryâ becomes more of âMcGucketâs Lake Mysteryâ in that Fiddleford (Or Tate??) asks Gideon (and his family) to get rid of the Gobblewonker that resides in the Gravity Falls lake. Gideon, not knowing that the Gobblewonker is an innocent mother (who might be getting revenge for McGucket putting his mansion on top of her nest) tries to relocate her or get rid of her completely. When Gideon finds out, it becomes a situation of maybe Tate and Gideon persuading Fiddleford to move away or even just live with the beast. The outcome of this episode can be whatever you think can happen but I like the idea of the McGucketâs living on the lake as they are associated with the lake in canon.
 Fiddleford is a bit like Preston Northwestâs canon, as he does not like the common folk but only because they are a reminder of where his family bloodline comes out.Â
This might be why McGucket Mansion is haunted in the first place, an old relative of McGucket haunting in because of Fiddlefordâs neglect to his own family (or parents??) who might of passed away in the house.Â
Fiddleford has a large profit in boats and lake houses, which is why he probably lives at a lake now, to test out his prototypes and etc.Â
Tate has no interest in his fatherâs ideas or inventions. He is most likely a snobbish teenager who might soften up after the Gobblewonker incident but besides that he still is rather the same any rich kid would be.Â
Edited/added: Fiddleford would totally use a cowbell on Tate in this AU just as Northwest uses a bell on Pacifica.Â
