Rey is a Skywalker
There seems to be a mountain of evidence that Luke is Rey's father. Just like Anakin and Luke she is raised on a desert planet, the lightsaber calls out to her and Maz indicates it's because it's part of her lineage. Max also gets Rey to accept that nobody has come back for her on Jakku, is because nobody IS coming back for her but also says " There still is someone who can". When you combine that line with the line Kylo Ren said earlier about how Rey never knew her father, sounds an awful lot like she was left on Jakku by her MOTHER, never knew her father, and now her mother is dead so nobody knows of a Skywalker child abandoned on Jakku. We can see in the very last scenes on the island, Luke is standing by a GRAVE. (go ahead and check if you want its there) I'd say Kylo killed her on his "Jedi massacre". Luke assumes his wife and unborn child are dead but, just like Anakin's wife, Padmé Amidala, she us able to deliver her child before she dies, but it is never known to Luke. (sounds eerily similar, doesn't it?) Now we have the question " But if she's dead, how is Rey on Jakku?" I can only theorize, but I believe Leia took Rey to Jakku to protect her from Kylo and Smoke. This would explain why Leia seems to know who Rey is near the end of the movie. Plus, why would Leia send Rey, of all people to go find Luke on the island? Its because she knows the only other person that he will listen to more than his own sister, is his DAUGHTER. Besides ALL of that, Star Wars is a story about the SKYWALKERS! Rey and Kylo are the physical embodiments of the struggle between Anakin Skywalker, and Darth Vader. IT ALWAYS COMES BACK TO VADER. The one who was supposed to bring balance to the force. Rey, the daughter of his son. Ben, the son of his daughter. Rey representing Anakin, the Jedi who feels the pull of the dark side, and Kylo representing Vader, the Sith lord who feels the pull of the light. It all comes down to them working together to bring balance to the force and overthrow Supreme Leader Snoke. It all comes together as it should. In trilogy after trilogy, we see many similarities between them. It's no different here. It starts and ends with Anakin, then his children, then his grandchildren bringing BALANCE TO THE FORCE.
