Kara’s reason for keeping her identity secret from Lena might not matter

I just had a thought. Katie has hinted the reveal will be the breaking point. I'm beginning to think that she ends things with Kara not because Kara kept her identity secret. It could be she moves Supergirl's sins on to Kara's shoulders. So any excuse Kara might have for keeping her identity a secret might be irrelevant.  Kara asking James to break in to her vault would be even more unforgivable especially given Lena's shot down of Supergirl last episode, that her friends would never do that.
