Happy National Science Week everyone. Last night saw the launch of Shirt Science Season 2 in which 16 artists were partnered up with 16 scientists to collaborate on a t-shirt design. I was paired with Ashley Ruiter from the ANU Research School of Astronomy and Astrophysics who is looking at which Binary Star systems create supernovae. This is my take on that, incorporating the fact that we are made up of elements from exploded white dwarfs.
