Hmmm... I was daydreaming about redoing the original Thunderbirds movies (TAG1966 and TB6) just for fun because why not? 😆

TAG would be an adventure/action film surrounding the adventures of the Tracy Brothers, all having their balanced roles (it would be the same with everyone). The story would be more focused on the family and their relationships, while combating the Hood along the way. The Zero X plot would turn into a subplot, not important but it would be a thing that the story will come back to at the end.

TB6 would still be "the Alan Tracy" movie, but his plot would be him helping Brains getting out of his "art block", with the help of Tin-Tin and the rest of the gang. And the sixth Thunderbird came to be not from Jeff asking Brains for another vehicle, but Brains being a bit obsessed with the idea of creating another Thunderbird, hence why he got a little stuck. Meanwhile the Hood was up to no good (as he would).

First impression:

Wow this guy is a bit of a hotshot show off, he's probably the most popular member of IR amongst their fans.

Impression now:

I think he's quite a complex guy underneath his typical "popular boy" exterior. He's a dad figure to his four brothers, a leader of a world saving organisation and a billionaire while also still craving excitement and freedom.

He's also someone who's obviously struggling with all of the responsibilities that had just been suddenly launched on him after his dad's disappearance. One minute he's the grumpy old man who's coddling his baby brothers and the next he's the adrenaline seeking teenager with no care in the world.

Scott definitely has his flaws and makes plenty of mistakes but he's carrying the whole world (literally) on his shoulders, he's under a lot of strain and he does his absolute best to fill his dad's shoes and not let anything stop him from making it all work out.

Favourite moment:

Literally any time this man facepalms, he's just so done with everything. But this probably isn't exactly the answer you're looking for so...

For an actual pinpointable moment I'm going to go with Scott comforting Kat Cavenough in the ep "Home on the Range".

This moment shows off his caring and forgiving side, Kat has blasted all this fake news about IR and their involvement with the Hood and Scott just straight up treats her like any other casualty.

No scolding, no anger, no cold shoulder, no blunt words or passive aggressiveness. Just comfort and reassurance. He isn't obligated to be so understanding and forgiving, all he has to do is save her life, which means pulling her out of the hole and whisking her off to a hospital. He even lets her stay at their holiday home while she gets her broken legs set.

He didn't have to do that but he went above and beyond to make Kat feel as comfortable as possible throughout the whole situation despite what she had done.

Idea for a story:

Oh gosh I'm really not sure, I guess maybe Scott spending some more time with the Mechanic and getting to know him and his story better. I feel like one of the main reasons the Mechanic feels so unwelcome is Scott's hostility towards him

Kinda off topic here, but tbh I would've liked to have seen more interaction between the Tracys, Kayo and the Mechanic. Healing, forgiveness and bonding and specifically some deep conversations with Kayo. The Mechanic is the only other person we know of who has been manipulated by the Hood and it would have been nice for them to heal from the trauma left by the Hood's abuse together.

Unpopular opinion:

**Tw for alcohol use**

I don't think Scott drinks alcohol all that much and certainly doesn't use it as any kind of a coping mechanism.

I've seen quite a few fics with Scott drinking glasses of whiskey over paperwork, breaking out high volume drinks when things get really depressing or even having a drink to help with sleep but I think with the job he has combined with all his other responsibilities, he can't afford to get even be the slightest bit tipsy. He can't afford to make preventable mistakes.

This doesn't mean that he can't ever have a drink to calm his nerves or go drinking for fun, he just needs a couple of days off from his job to drink and he very rarely gets that.

Favourite relationship:

My favourite has to be Brains & Scott platonically. They have a great dynamic, they're obviously very comfortable in eachother's presence and are confident enough in eachother's abilities to be able to trust eachother with their lives without hesitation.

They're just great.♡♡

Favourite headcanon:

Scott struggled the most with his dad's disappearance compared to his brothers.

Not only had he lost his dad, he also had to fill the place he left behind and take on everything that comes with that. I doubt he had as much time to grieve as the rest of the family and with the role he's now in he's also surrounded by constant reminders of his dad.

I think going through such a traumatic event and then not being able to grieve properly has had a great impact on him and it shows most in the episode "Recharge".

First impressions: (TOS) Ooh a redhead, nice to see a positive ginger representation 👍(TAG) ffyrbdw VIRGIL IS DOING PUSHUPS WITH HIM SAT ON HIS BACK LOOK AT THAT GODDAMN HEFT OF THE MAN... @willow-salix lured me into TAG with a thirst trap 😅😅

Now: He a highly capable professional who knows how to decompress through humour 👍

Favourite moment: (TOS) him and Virgil ripping on Sad Panda Alan 🤣 (TAG) either him and Alan squabbling over a chair or when Virgil dumps the water and Gordon goes "Nice one, that's Alan's first bath in weeks!"

Relationships: can't really think of any, I know they had him with Penny in TAG 🤔 platonically him and the other boys- I just really like seeing them acting like actual brothers 🤣

Story idea: 🤔 I had one floating around where he was distracting a scared child with a hologram of the ocean, that was cute

Headcanon: he's really good with kids - he has a personality they can vibe with and the authority they listen to and trust

Today is the day.

He had planned for this day since the first time he laid his eyes on her. He never believed in love at first sight - but her? She was different. Her sleek black hair, her sweet voice that reminded him of his long gone mother, her bright blue eyes that always shined whenever he looked at her, but what he mostly liked about her was her passion for physics. She was perfect in his eyes.

He got up earlier than usual, got his pair of non-prescription glasses that she once said looked good on him. There can't possibly be anything that can ruin his perfect plan.

He arrived at the campus having faith that today is going to be the best day in his life.

She was sitting there, in her usual seat reading the book he suggested to her last week: 'Basic Physics: A Self-Teaching Guide'. It was his favourite book. It helped him understand most of the stuff he now knew about physics.

"Hey, Astra." Even though she was perfect in his eyes, he still felt compelled to look anywhere except her eyes, hoping his face wasn’t too red. "I see that you're reading the book." He scratched his neck trying to hide his red hot ears.

"Oh, hey John." Her face had that sweet smile that made him weak. "It’s beautiful! It really is very helpful, just like you said."

She stood up and they wandered out of the library to the courtyard. She chatted and he tried to listen but she kept smiling in that way that made his stomach clench. He answered the best he could, but he has been shaking and stuttering for a while now. She's literally next to me. Did she notice if I was acting weird? Do I look awkward next to her?… His mind was overwhelmed by many thoughts.

"John…?" Hearing his name made him snap out of all his thoughts. "Is everything alright?"

Crap she noticed.

"Y-yeah why?" John asked, hoping she meant something else.

"Because you really look good today." She smiled at him and John felt more butterflies in his stomach.

Crap, that was a compliment.

"B-by the way… there's this some-"

"Hey, John. Hey, Astra." A tall brown-haired guy waved at them both as he jogged over to them.

What does he want now?

"Hey, Liam."

"Hey, babe."

John blinked at her. Babe?! Since when?

"Is it okay if you tell me what you have in mind later?" An apologetic expression written all over her face. "We've been planning for our first date since last week."

"O-oh yes, of course. See you later," he replied while still trying to process what just happened.

Having no idea how he managed to stay on his feet the whole day as he went to his classes but they all went way over his head as he kept thinking about Astra and Liam, the time came for Virgil to pick him up and question him about his 'special day'.

"Hey, bro. How was your day?"

"Just drive please."
