I love totk. I love how absolutely enormous the map is and how many new monsters there are (that made me nope out of there the first time I saw them). I LOVE the story and the freedom the game gives you. I’m OBSESSED with Fuse and Ultrahand. But I absolutely ABHORE the ending! Yes, it was cute. Yes, it was a wonderful, lovely happy ever after. But what about the consequences? Losing oneself forever is FOREVER. Rauru telling Link his arm was unsalvageable should mean IT IS GONE. FOREVER. But suddenly it doesn’t matter? Fucking hate this. I would prefer Link to either keep Rauru’s arm or end with only one. And Zelda should have stayed a dragon forever.
