Overall, I'd say it was pretty fun. It was SUPER tiring though. They kept us up all day with minimum breaks.
I guess I was a little disappointed they didn't get my room mate request sheet... But I totally loved my room mates. We got along pretty well. I was pretty surprised LOL
Dude. I actually practiced scales for the audition. And this is what I got back "Oh don't worry, scales are useless."
We got split into 2 different intermediate bands... one of which I think was better than the other. It was pretty obvious when we had a dress rehearsal. My band director said that the other band was made up of high school students which wouldn't make sense because aren't I going into high school too? Like Nicole? And Madison? And Sam? And PLENTY OTHERS
Well I can't really complain. It was obvious there was a better band than the other. Oh well~
OUR SAXOPHONE ENSEMBLE. LOL. I think we pissed off our instructor because we were begging for harder music. We got lost during the ensemble concert. There is just so many damn saxophones. And I mean there's like 45 of us. Seriously.
What I learned? Well, my ligature was backwards. I learned how to play a high E... I learned that I wasn't playing B flat right. I learned that I was puffing my cheeks a little bit... Uh. Yeah. Either way I was expecting a TINY bit more.
I'm not going to lie, but on the ride home I actually felt sad. I met new people and it sucks that it was only one week. But I don't think I could go through another week of that... So tired.
LOL I GOT HOME AND I HAD LIKE 23840923 FRIEND REQUESTS. Alright guys.
I guess I'll be staying at Trinity. I really want to go to a school that has a good music program but I'll stick with it. For now. I guess.
