EXO Challenge Day 1: Your Favorite Teaser

Shadow Magic ... Teaser 21 Baby Don't Cry

Figuring out which EXO teaser was really really tough because there are so many mesmerizing teasers to choose from, FML. But in the end there were only two that honestly took my breath away. On the one hand, there was Teaser 1 with Kai flowing across the water like magic. On the other, there was Teaser 21 which saw Kai creating subtle magic with just his shadow. I guess it's obvious from the gifs which teaser stole my heart :).

Why is Teaser 21 my favorite? I loved the minimalist approach. No props. No special effects other than the piano keyboard that appears for few seconds. Just Kai. His supple body. His graceful and elegant movements. His shadow. His classy red pants. The gorgeous choreography. The beautiful melody. And really all it comes down to - why this video worked for me - is Kai. Just Kai.
