Hearing about the different worlds that the people of this city came from was amusing, but there was something comforting about encountering someone who seemed familiar from time to time.
Of course, even if they were from their world, Enkidu was unlikely to recognize them.
Take this person for example.
Something (perhaps it was intuition) told them that this woman was from their world, if not their time. But she didn’t appear to be a mage, and she wasn’t a heroic spirit... But she wasn’t a normal person either.
Rather than while the day away stewing in curiosity, Enkidu approached her.
‘What exactly are you’ was a rude question, so they’d refrain from being that blunt. Perhaps there was an easy way to determine if she was associated with the Grail War or something similar.
“Excuse me- Could I talk to you for a bit? You seem familiar, but I can’t quite place it. You can call me ‘Lancer.’”
