I just saw your keefe as a dad headcanons, and they were so cuteee ! can you do fitz as a dad ?
Fitz is, like, the world’s greatest dad
And not just because his friends bought him “Worlds Greatest Dad” stuff
He loves his kids so much? And he doesn’t hesitate to remind them every living second of the day.
The kids kind of get annoyed by it.
You hear a lot of, “Yes, Dad, I know.”
“I just wanted to make sure!”
Cutest dad on earth?? He loves to help his kids out with their homework. He’s a really good tutor, to no one’s surprise and the kids always ace their tests.
But even if they stumble, he’s not angry! He just makes it a point to try and help them out more with whatever it is they might need
Fitz is that geek who loves teaching his kid about new things. Like, lowkey highkey he wishes he could just pull them out of that prestigious school and teach them at home himself
He’s told Sophie about this many times
And Biana
They both have to remind him that he’s an Emissary and that’s probably not the best idea. (He still doesn’t care. He’d give up the job in a heartbeat if it meant getting to spend his time with his kids, showing them the world.)
He’s the type that wants allll the kids. He wants so many kids, he just! Loves babies so much! They’re so cute!
He’ll take the rest of the gang’s kids and babysit them anytime. Even if he’s got all of them plus his kids over for the weekend, he doesn’t care.
He always gets stressed halfway through the sleepover, though, and is like “Oh my god what have I done” while pulling a smile and trying to help out all these kids running around the house.
But then by the time it’s over he realizes he liked it and does it all over again the next week.
Don’t mess with his kids. Just don’t.
You’ve heard of protective mama bears? Yeah, that’s Fitz.
You fuck with his kids, you’ll feel his wrath.
Did I mention how much he loves them? The first time he saw each of them, he sobbed. And I mean sobbed. Ugly sobbing. For so long.
He would sit with them for hours upon hours when they were little, just letting their tiny hand grasp onto his finger as he smiled.
He’ll get into whatever his kids like. If they like this toy, it’s automatically the greatest thing in the world. They like this food? They’re having it at least once every week. They like this place or this relative? They’re going to get the chance to visit there/them anytime that they want.
While Fitz can be pretty lenient with kids, he’s still got the discipline thing down. He doesn’t yell, because he’s terrified of repeating past mistakes and slipping back into who he was when he was younger, but he explains what they did that was wrong and tells them how to correct it and things like that.
The kids follow him everywhere. Anywhere and everywhere. They love hopping on his back and being carried around, or latching onto his ankle, or just holding onto his hand and walking to the kitchen with him.
All of them loved being picked up and spun at one point. Fitz happily obliged. Also he did that throw-the-baby-in-the-air-and-catch-them movement once but once he did catch them he was terrified and decided to never do it again (despite the fact that the kid was giggling.)
He leaves them little gifts for no reason. Whether it be their favourite snack or something he saw that reminded him of them, he gets it and saves it for the right moment. (Which is usually when he catches that they’re sad.)
Speaking of if they’re sad:
He will not hesitate to sit with them and let them drape themselves over his body and soak his shirt with tears and snot. He’ll rub their back and play with their hair and rock them if they need it. He tries to come up with a solution to whatever happened and it’s very sweet how he really listens.
His kids love his Cognate rings for some reason. Love to fiddle with them. Sometimes Fitz will let them hold them, if they’re within sight. They’ll sit with the rings in their hands and try to clack them together
Fitz and Sophie think its because they must have seen the rings snapping together at one point, when their minds were connected.
Sophie thinks it’s adorable.
Fitz writes lullabies for his kids. And of course he performs them for the little ones.
At first, it started out with simple little tunes to help get them to sleep and have a bit of fun, but then he started toying with the idea of writing them little personalized songs.
So, he did.
He has a little guitar and he’ll sit cross-legged in the living room as he fiddles with different melodies.
The kids adore their songs. They make sure to tell everybody that they can that their dad wrote them a special song.
Fitz gets very flustered.
But, hey, if they like it, who is he to tell them to stop talking to others about it?
