Also aren’t the judges at Rostelecom Russian? Or am I mistaken?
No it’s an international panel of judges. You can see the judges for each discipline here.

yeah life moves so quickly and Sherlock so slowly lmao
I ask you what the point of Granada Sherlock Holmes is without David Burke. I ask you.
Hey,
well, it’s hard to answer. I guess everybody has a favorite Watson in Granada. To be honest, in the beginning I was a bit skeptical when I found out they changed the Watson actor, and there was a time I always favored David Burke over Edward Hardwicke, but then I realized you can’t compare them some how.
David was the perfect Watson before Holmes “died”. He had something like a spring in his step. He was a younger version, a bit more cheeky and sassy as the later Watson.
But then, Holmes “died” and Watson had to wait three years for his friend to show up again and he grieved and missed him. And I think Edward is the perfect Watson for the time after this. Still sassy, but more mature. He went through all this emotions and that can change one - literally here.
So what is the point without David? The point is, that it is still a fantastic show even after David left - and he had good reasons. I could say; the point is Jeremy Brett, but Jeremy never had worked without a good Watson, so...
Okay, I can’t tell you really. When one loves David as Watson, it’s hard to accept it, but I think they did it well. David recommended Edward and sometimes I try to imagine David instead of Edward in some episodes and I can’t. I separate them, even they are one character.
In the end, I can feel you, when I imagine, they would have changed Lestrade (Colin Jeavons) I would have probably lost it. As I am head over heels with him.
What do you guys think? Is there an answer?

(Part 2) Luckily we had my grandmother's vacant house to move in to, but she was a hoarder so we spent most of that summer making the house habitable while selling our old one and trying to get cash. I know how it feels to seem completely down and out and I hope you find solace in the support of others. Remember that this too shall pass and that, though it may seem like a permanent bog, you will eventually find your way out. All the best.
Oh goodness thank you so much for the donation and the kind words! I'm sorry you had to go through something similar too, but thank ou so much for taking time out to say this! it means a lot to me.

Hey there! Do you know if there's a way to read the whole Baker Street Journal article on queer criticism? Thank you and I hope you have a nice day :)
Yes, you can subscribe to the Baker Street Journal here. If you subscribe now they’ll send you the two issues that have already come out this year as well as the rest of the issues as they are released. Unfortunately they don’t have an electronic version. Also check your library because they may have it,
