~Goddess in the Cyber world~
{Art finished on: May 16, 2022 }
one of the last doodles from the art stream of mine was one I went pretty ham on the coloring in a way, was what if I draw Tsuki as a cyber tech goddess if she was in a cyber world? what would she look like? I went with the idea her wings would be tech and such if she was in a cyber world. I might do better with the designs next time when i try drawing the design again. thought it look fun! also went ham on the glitches and such effect. XD
🌸🍡Please don’t steal and resubmit/repost my works without my permission! thanks!🍡🌸

Why So Much Change, Google Apps?
When Google launched Google Apps I was probably one of the first to sign up. A great platform for my small personal domain at no cost. Actually I was probably just happy to not have to pay a fee to host my email, but over the years I found many more reasons to stay with Google Apps even when I could have easily used my domain host’s platform. In fact, I have moved domains that I had responsibility for to Google Apps because of my positive experience. Then last year Google decided to do away with its Standard (Free) version for new subscribers. So if you were already there great, but for new domains; oh well.
Google does have a paid version (a couple of them actually), but for my small domain I don’t really see the point. Now, today I receive an email about an update to the sign-in page (all versions). I have to say that it really irks me that for the companies who like to have their sign in page branded, they will no longer be able to do so.
For any who might want to read the announcement, I have provided a snapshot below and the link to the full information on Google’s website.
While the news is disheartening overall, there is one option still available for those who have personal domains and prefer not to use their host’s services. That is Live Domains which is basically Hotmail/live mail. To sign up, go here. It is not as full serviced as Google Apps, but nice just the same. Sad to see Google becoming another money monger. :(
If anyone knows of any other comparable services, let me know. I’ll update this post with verified information.

2011 Computing
Recently, when my daughter asked me to help her out with a paragraph of my take on Dell, HP, Apple, and Sony Computers I had to chuckle. I used to have such formed opinions, but today computers and computing have changed dramatically. The choices are diverse with MacBooks, iPads, Netbooks, Laptops, and PC from the main competitors to varied new entrants into the market that make it much more complex.
Having touched Apple’s Ipad a few times, I can see some of it mobility advantages, as well as the smaller Netbooks. Yet, even the regular users tell me it’s great on the go for checking email, but when it comes to typing a document or spreadsheet they pull out their laptop or turn on their desktop.
Larger, wide screened Laptops of HP and Toshiba also have their appeal. I love my netbook, but it just doesn’t do it when I am working on a website project. Sony and Apple still reign supreme for graphic quality though and I doubt that will change soon. When shopping for my netbook about a year or so ago, I was happy to see an offering of Linux OS options in addition to Windows.
The average consumer is more concerned about price. The tech savvy consumer wants a huge hard drive and ton of RAM (random access memory) because they know new applications are memory hogs. They want stability in an operating system, but sometimes have to sacrifice due to application requirement. The fact is depending on your needs and the use for your computer will determine the best choices for you. I love Linux and Mac for their stability, but for application compatibility it has to be a Windows PC with Mac coming in second for me. Though for scientific application, graphics and stable OS you may really need an Apple MacBook.
For Windows based laptop with great graphics Sony Vaio reigns supreme (that’s what my son says anyway).
For business applications then you want Toshiba, Dell or HP and if you need a server Dell is usually the best in the business.
Finally for the budget strapped consumer looking for a great deal, there are many generic computers out in the market that offer many of the same options a brand computer will. So, they answer to the question on my take on HP. Sony. Dell or Vaio is “it depends”. I doubt my write up has been extremely helpful. It is what it is.
