“So…Omega was telling me about a special flying maneuver you taught her on the Marauder.”

He couldn’t help but flinch at the mention of his beloved ship. He had once told Omega that it was “merely a mode of transportation”, but he now knew that statement to be false. It was home. It was freedom. And it was gone, thanks to him.

Phee smiled kindly as she continued. “She said it was called the ‘Tech Turn’. Ring any bells?”

At the beginning of The Last Jedi when Poe is stalling Hux and that big destroyer ship thing he starts firing at it and he does the Tech Turn so now I’m wondering if he grew up watching videos of Tech piloting the marauder and his little stunt at the riot race thinking “i want to fly like him when i grow up”
