            deft fingers had set to the work of cleaning the barrel of one of her hand cannons. she had been unable to sleep which wasn’t exactly a surprise ; slumber eluded her as easily as the nightmares that plagued her. raising her gaze to her companion she found herself watching with an inexplicable wonder evident --- there was still so little she knew about the woman she was working with right now. normally she required more knowledge before she would so comfortably rely or associate with someone ; to say she was a lone wolf of sorts would be an understatement at best... and yet, she found herself wanting to trust in the other.

❛ i made the best out of what we had for food, if you’re hungry... ❜     the sicilian in her would always be disappointed in ‘dry pasta’ for cooking... but sometimes it was all that was available to her, and when she struggled to sleep? she would cook.      ❛ --- i just wish it was fresh pasta.   ❜

My day has been pretty quiet since I woke up around 2pm i think?? My sleep is a mess right now. It’s my usual day of sleeping in and enjoying the indoors. Thank you for asking!
