Hello! Fellow cosplayer here, I’ll be moving to Germany in 2 yrs time or so and I was wondering how the cosplay scene is up there? I only heard bits and pieces of info about it and anything is appreciated since I’ll be basically alone up there haha _____________ Hey there! I think the german scene is quite nice : > Mainly it’s organized via Animexx.de a page for everything related to the Anime/Manga community... you’ll fund all the events on there and als small meet-ups and related forums! There is also a big “Cosplay” group where you can ask stuff about groups, crafting, buy/sell stuff, or just random blabla We have about 8 big conventions in a year and 15-20 quite big ones I guess... and 8035720%72ß58}2 small meet-up so there is also plenty of possibilities to get to know people in real life who live near u! <3 Our conventions are more or less like all the european conventions... except for our stage performances (theatre and dance). You can go to workshops, contests or just watch a nice cosplay competition :> At the very big ones (except LBM) you are all good even without a ticket cause most cosplayers are outside anyway so if you are located near one, just go for it!
