My wife is ADHD in much the same way Techno is. She's autistic on top of that. People vilify her for the most asinine shit, all because she doesn't express emotions in the exact way people want, takes things literally, and doesn't read social cues well.
We could have just gotten a simple apology from him, but bc of the harassment, he can't make an apology without rewarding the behavior.
I’m glad I’m able to provide you with Techno content away from the worst of the drama. I also have ADHD and am on the Autism Spectrum so I can relate to Techno and that’s probably why I’m so defensive when a lot of the things he’s getting attacked for are related to ADHD symptoms.
He’s talked before about his troubles with anxiety, so the worst way to get anything from him is to make it a big deal and constantly harass him. But in reality, the people involved in this don’t really care about the groups that were offended, or they would also recognize that changed behavior matters far more than any apology, since apologies are just empty words without that change. Personally I don’t care about an apology because Techno has proven that he is a kind and thoughtful person and he’s grown past some poor taste jokes from his teen years.
