[A/N] I haven't really done head canons before, so please bare with me! I hope you enjoy! Also, sorry for not posting much recently, but I hope this suffices LMAO.
~ Online ~
- Late-night calls, always.
- Techno usually being the one to get you to play with him.
- You'd usually play bedwars or any kind of minecraft, but occasionally you'd convice him to play games like League of Legends or Valorant.
- Listening to Techno rant about some kind of Greek mythology isn't rare, but you have no complaints.
- Techno would often bully you for being bad at minecraft. (/lh)
- In reality, you actually were pretty good, Techno is just a sweaty bastard.
- You'd often fall asleep on call to the sound of Techno tapping away on his keyboard, waking up to him making breakfast, still on call.
~ IRL ~
- Resting his elbow on your head
- If you two aren't huddled up at home plating video games, you'd be exploring your town at 3am, eating some kind of shitty fast food.
- You enjoy each-others company, even if its silent.
- You and Techno often watched cringey netflix shows just to sit there and pick out every flaw.
- Play fighting, you occasionally "win"
- Techno will often hide behind corners to scare you.
- You try the same, he ends up scaring you still somehow.
could i request sbi headcanons with a reader (platonic/familial) who uses asl? like maybe they collectively learn it after the reader goes mute/deaf and how they comfort them when it gets frustrating (i love your writing by the way <3)
ASL Family Member || SBI Headcanons
Techno
When you turned deaf he didn't know what to do
He would always try to help you, being more protective of you than usual
Killing everything that even slightly threatened to harm you
At first he would just use vague hand signals of what he meant
He's not very expressive at first, but he slowly becomes more and more expressive to help you
He tried writing messages to you but his writing was too messy and scratchy to read
Whenever you teach him ASL he tries his best to remember
He never shows you but he practices in private 24/7
There's stacks of books and notes of how to sign all over his room, but he hides them when you come
One day you'll sign to him and he'll surprise you with his ASL skills
Since you became deaf and weren't born knowing the language, he’d learn ASL with you
Really enjoys it, he likes hanging out with you after being so busy with wars and stuff
Whenever you get frustrated he panics
Emotions aren't his best spot but he tries his best for you
Let's you vent out your emotions in either writing, signing, or fighting if you want
Once you vent it all out he writes out a really long yet well thought out reply
If anything, he's glad he gets to write down his reply. Words are hard for him
Tries to cheer you up by searching for some diamonds to make you earrings to decorate and appreciate your ears :”)
Wilbur
idk if u wanted vilbur, ghostbur, or lmanburg wilbur so I wrote for lmanburg wilbur
So sweet with you, instantly tries his best to learn anything and everything
For the first few weeks he’ll use signals like Techno but Wilbur’s were a lot clearer and expressive
Always makes eye contact with you, he learned that from a friend
Super mindful about everything
Always super gentle when letting you know he's there, stomping hard on the floor, blowing wind on your ear, etc
When you offer to teach him ASL he’s honored and a quick learner
He messes up sometimes but just laughs it off with you
He's very stiff at first, wanting to make sure it's perfect, but soon becomes a lot more natural
Likes writing stupid jokes down on notepads to make you laugh since you can't hear him
When you got frustrated with your loss of hearing he understood completely
He let you write out your frustrations and then he wrote a reply to it
His words are so thoughtful and meaningful, filled with compliments
To help calm you down, he’d play his guitar for you and let you rest your hand on it, to feel the vibrations
Tommy
You became mute after you got a disease in your throat
When you couldn't speak Tommy thought you were joking, trying to prank him
But when he found out you were serious he was so baffled
Asked around if there was any way to get your voice back but there was none
He keeps searching for ways to get your voice back but you finally accepted it and stopped him
Instead, you offered to learn ASL with him
He was a little hesitant at first, scared of embarrassing himself
But he couldn't say no to you, so he tried learning
Either super stiff and slow or wayyyy too sloppy and fast
He takes a while to teach but once he has the basics down, he's learning constantly
He'll probably try to make a sign for “pog” or other twitch terms but he gives up mid way
No one knows but Philza knows this, sometimes Tommy asks Phil to buy him books on ASL to learn in his own time
Tommy hates being sappy so he hides it
Gets such a massive ego boost when he does a sign you don't know
When you get frustrated and start crying/being super pissed he's lost
If your disease was a human, he’d beat it's ass so fast
Just sits next to you and pats your back, he's very awkward
Let's you vent out your emotions and tries to comfort you by making a ton of jokes
To cheer you up he (terribly) builds statues of the both of you with lots of money lol
It's a lil ugly but he tried :”) If anything it made you smile and wheeze

When you turned mute and deaf he instantly took care of you
It was so stressful to just have those two things ripped away
He reads every single one of your vents and replies to them with the best advice he can muster
Mob-proofs your house to prevent any sneak attacks
Adds like 500 torches to your house :””) You have to beg him to stop
Gives you so many spare torches, literally finally up 5 double chests
Surprisingly brings up learning ASL before you
Gets so many books to help learn it with you
Is very patient and kind to you, taking baby steps the whole time
He signs well, a bit too relaxed to the point where you miss a word or two
Super accepting of criticism when it comes to signing
Wants to make sure it's perfect so you can understand him
When you get frustrated again he lets you vent all of it out and then cooks you a nice meal
Offers to invite the other SBI members to relax together, but if you don't want to he completely understands
He's always distracting you, to keep it off your mind
Phil probably starts an ASL school/tutoring house for any other DSMP members that are interested in learning
