So, Phee will be told that Tech is dead. Then he'll turn out to be alive. The Batch returns to Pabu, everyone comes to welcome them. Tech disembarks, spots Phee in the crowd.
He sets his jaw. He has been given a second chance. He won't waste it....
He makes a beeline toward her, with strong, determined steps. The crowd on the tarmac parts before him like curtains.
Phee takes a few steps toward him, weeping, but trying to hide it.
Tech takes her in his arms and before she can make a clever quip, kisses her, long and deep.
Tech ends the kiss, and holds Phee in his arms as, flushed and out-of-breath, she looks up at him in a mixture of wonder, appreciation, and desire.
"Nice to see you, too... Brown Eyes," she gasps.
Tech smiles down at her, and kisses her again as the crowd cheers around them.
Crosshair looks confused. Hunter smiles knowingly. Echo folds his arms with a slow nod. Omega squeals and claps, accompanied by Lyana, both bouncing with happiness. Wrecker punches a fist in the air with a jubilant cry. "Yeah!"
The wedding. Wrecker, Best Man. Omega and Lyanna, bridesmaids. Shep performs the ceremony. Hunter gives away the bride. Crosshair and Echo are Groomsmen. Everyone on Pabu is in attendance.
The vows are said, and then the kiss. The crowd rises and cheers.
Clone Force 99 is at peace, happy, whole, and know they'll always be together, now.
The final shot of The Bad Batch is a slow pullback of an aerial shot of Pabu, resplendent in the ruby light of the sunset.
