위의 그림은 Kinematics를 설명하기 위한 그림으로 Blues, Reds Sequential Colormap이 각각 사용한 것으로 보이며 밑의 그림은 Vortex의 IsoSurface 3개로 각각 파랑, 빨강, 녹색을 위주로 Blues, Reds.Greens Sequential Colormap을 사용한 것으로 보인다. 물리적 현상을 가장 잘 설명할 수 있는 Colormap의 선택이 중요하다.

Alter data using Python on Tecplot

I have just learned how to alter data using Python on Tecplot:

Vortex rings in a simulated pipe flow sinusoidally-forced (pulsed) in the axial direction.

This is the result of a supersonic jet outflow simulation carried out on Fluent. The image shows the over-expanded flow forming mach disks at exit. This is a Schlieren image obtained by plotting a contour of the first derivative of density using Tecplot. Work continues in improving the image quality (mainly by using a finer mesh)
