t.ed l.asso au. assistant coach fionn. a very promising player (attacking midfielder, number 10) at the county level as a child and scouted while playing for his university team, fionn instead went off the rails (including getting kicked off the university team) and his potential career went nowhere. after getting clean and getting his shit together in his mid 20s, he takes up coaching, first for lower division teams, then as an assistant coach for cork city wfc, before moving back to london and to richmond.
richmond is very close to where he grew up and he did not have a happy childhood so being in that part of london is always a challenge. he commutes from camden town because he can't risk living near his family
he's around the same age as some of the older players on the team, around 30
he still plays football at an amateur level. he is very happy with this; he has no ambitions to do it professionally. he's too old to start a career now, anyway
his big coaching dream is to coach the irish national team, but he's not a particularly ambitious guy and is happy just being somewhere he belongs
idk how his accident happens in this au yet but i do know the entire richmond family will rally round him and that is when he'll really feel like he belongs
