So I guess I'm gonna be projecting my childhood on Milly now too, huh?
Okay but the fact that I can ship Ulrich and Yumi just by the: ready to jump to the past? (or whatever it's called in English) and this whole scene of both of them looking at each other longingly in the eyes while the light goes through them is amazing
Thinking about how XANA acts after possessing Milly’s teddy bear in Teddygozilla, and I like how the Code Lyoko Wiki’s description of the episode implies that XANA is deliberately going after anyone who makes Milly upset
That really doesn’t gel with how XANA’s portrayed for most of the show, in particular XANA’s later interactions with Milly and Tamiya via William, but I also lowkey like the implication that XANA cares about Milly’s feelings? because the idea of this evil AI having a soft spot for this one particular human child is so funny
Either that or there’s some sort of bona fide magic going on and as long as XANA was in the teddy bear, it actually had an empathy link or something to Milly?
Like, seriously, what was going on? Was the original intention just that XANA brought the teddy bear to life rather than actually possessing it? Well then it would make sense, but in canon that’s not what happened, XANA did possess the bear and therefore was controlling it directly. So what was going on there?
I feel like Ulrich is one of those characters that no one ever listens to... A bit like the tenth doctor
Ulrich going to the dance with Milly is so cutr. Also I love Odd and Yumi's friendship. I love the ending of this episode
I JUST REALIZED THERE IS A TRANSLATION ERROR IN SPANISH
When they decide that Odd and Jeremy are going to Lyoko, Ulrich says something like: say hi to our friend from me.
In Spanish, friend can be feminine (amiga) or masculine (amigo). And Ulrich says the masculine one. This could be a sarcastic comment and refer ti X.A.N.A. as they speak about it in masculine also, but Jeremy immediately blushes, so basically they just changed Aelita's gender for no reason lol
Teddygozilla
Season 1, Episode 1
aka The One Where Everyone's Slightly-but-Weirdly Out of Character
I think the two eps I saw the other day were in disorder because the ending was from later seasons. I've realised that now, seeing the real ending of season 1
