think it would be neat to have Plox’s beautiful braids he’s had since childhood be shorn off to implant the nails. definitely not the choppy half of his hair he cut himself once. no, we must cut off the 6ft long braided hair. we’ll put the nails in on that half of his scalp. and he’ll always bleed from the incision points and they’ll never heal. and when he laughs during battle, it’ll sometimes sound like sobbing. on account of still being an untrained empath stuck inside his own body experiencing the pain of thousands falling by his hands.

it’ll seem like he never gets the pleasure reward of the nails because they’re constantly tugging against his own psyche. maybe he’ll lose his mind, maybe he’ll be forced to be in a constant state of agony until he dies. doesn’t matter anyway, he has no one to be soft for anyway. he’ll meet what he assumes is Angron’s gaze on the battlefield one day and find out there was no epiphany to being acknowledged by his father, because there is no father to be acknowledged by. he just tears through him like another boon for Khorne.
