6. BATSHIT CRAY PLOT Picture it, 1989. I'm in the 8th grade and had just gotten basic cable as a gift from my favorite Aunt. I was already obsessed with television, then movies thanks to my 2 Uncle's owning a small & successful video rental shop. But cable & having more than six channels changed my world. Little did I know, my early film education was to come in the form of something called #USAUpAllNight - where I furthered my love for a cavalcade of film genres (#WIP #HORROR #EXPLOITATION #SCIFI #ACTION #SEXPLOITATION & #teensexcomedy) & where I was introduced to & fell in love with #PamGrier & her early films. Anywho, #OneLifeToLive was a show that I would dabble with when able due to an interest in actress #FionaHutchinson who played the beautiful & opportunistic #GabrielleMedina - so imagine my surprise when #OLTL enters into the scifi/action-adventure realm with a plot about a lost city located inside of a mountain where people get trapped. This was right up my alley. The Lost City of #ETERNA storyline spanned a few months, was the biggest set (@ the time) ever constructed for daytime & was full of drama & danger at every turn - something right up my alley & straight outta #usaupallnight (& there was hidden gold too!) #shamefulclutterssoapoperachallenge
